I got here at about 9:40 on a Saturday after noticing their store while walking up High earlier this week. They had a line of about 30 people, so I would recommend getting there at or before 9:30 as I heard one of their flavors was sold out by the time I got to the counter. Glazed with sprinkles ($6): The glaze has a ton of vanilla in it and isn't overly sweet or thick like Buckeye Donuts. The dough, on the other hand, was very dense and almost dry for a raised donut, which left me a bit disappointed. 3/5 Chocolate Old-Fashioned ($5.5): Same good glaze and the dough was like a reverse brownie, being soft on the edges and firmer cake in the center. Very good! 4.5/5 Earth, Wind, and Fire Cruller ($6.5 I think): If I had to get one donut from here, it would be this one. The meringue is absolutely loaded with vanilla and the ganache has some nice warming spices in it. Combined with the super airy and moist dough, this was an easy 5/5. Would I go back? Probably, but just for the Earth, Wind, and Fire. You can tell they use very high quality ingredients, but I don't think I can justify the price for more than one of these in a visit. I'll be keeping a look out for the next round of seasonal flavors!

This is a relatively new donut shop to Columbus, so I did my donut enthusiast due diligence and gave them a try (on National Donut Day). They serve up a few staple donuts, but they caught my attention via social media with their super interesting flavors that are constantly changing; each flavor seems to have a story behind it too. They have cake, raised, and cruller varieties, so naturally I tried one of each: I'm usually not a fan of crullers, but here they have a much better texture than I've had from most donut shops - light, but not too light. It had a vibrant berry flavor too (8/10). The cake donut stuck to the soft texture theme, and had very subtle crispy edges. The flavor didn't pop quite as much, but it was still an excellent and very enjoyable donut (8.5/10). I like how thick the raised donut was, but it could have been a tad bit more moist. The flavors didn't jump out as much as advertised, but a pretty enjoyable donut nonetheless (7/10). Rose Dough is a worthy contender amongst the local donut shops in Columbus. I'd say Top 5. I'll be back to try more of their excellent creations!

What an experience indeed, first off these the type of donuts that remind you why you like donuts. The icing is so light and flavorful, the dough has the perfect crisp at the end and this falls right in between the cronut and standard counter donut so everyone can be happy here. They were so fresh and perfectly soft and great service. Make the walk/Uber down here and grab some of these on a Saturday-big things will happen for this place so get on it early. I got the Rose and the Sprinkle-I can only assume all of them are 5 star. What an awesome place and the best in the city. edit -now that they have a brick and mortar. They’re the best Donuts in the country not just the city of Columbus and everything is still on point and a great selection of refreshing flavors. It’s great to see that the quality and innovative take on the style of doughnut has put them where they are now and I’m sure they’ll be even more growth in the future. The dough still has that unique balance of a crisp outside and wonderful soft inside with a very good structure to the dough, especially the crullers.
