The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine — Attraction in Columbus

I am a brown veterinary student here. I have been aggressively asked, “are you a student here” while studying in one of the study rooms I booked with my name on it. I should not have to prove that I am a veterinary student because of the color of my skin.

I no longer feel safe on campus because of fear of being thought of not being a student. I wear my OSU veterinary scrubs when I can just so staff or administration don’t question if I am a student.
