A Party 4 Less Party Rental — Attraction in Cutler Bay

I'm very disappointed with my experience with A Party 4 Less. The reservation part was excellent, no complaints. However on the day of the party at 1120 when I realized that it was getting late I tried calling the office whose office hours state are until 12pm only to get a message that the office was closed. No one bothered to call that they were coming late or anything, just showed up two hours late. Delivery was supposed to take place at 11am and didn't happen till after 1pm when you guys were aware that my party was at 12pm. My guests were inconvenienced by both not having a place to sit as the chairs hadn't arrived and then having to move all around as everything was delivered after the party started. Then one of the delivery guys was very sketchy, looking all around my house and even insinuating that he should get some goodies after setting up the bounce house. Completely unprofessional. As if that's not enough, we waited all day on Sunday for the pick up. Stayed home all day so as to not miss them coming and be charged whatever fee your contract states. Never showed up. Wasted a day that I could have spent out with my family. Of course no call from anyone stating they weren't going to pick up as scheduled or anything and of course the only contact number I have is for the office that is closed. Today, Monday, another wasted day that I could have spent out with my kids as there was no school but nope had to stay home because only God knew when the pick up would happen. Finally got here at 3pm unannounced and just started picking up chairs I had outside without even letting me know who they were. I used Party 4 less Party rental for the first time and had a horrible experience. I was having a Luau Birthday party and I wanted to have a Tiki Bar or something similar. They had 2 options a Big Tkki Bar and a Bar with a Grass skirting. I spoke to Genesis over their online chat and she priced me the Double Deck Bar with the Grass skirting. So, I called her up and gave her a deposit for that bar. I made sure to let her know that I wanted the one with the Grass Skirting because it was a Luau Party. She said no problem and I gave her a deposit. The party was for Saturday, July 5th and I made the reservation on May, 23rd., way ahead of time. Well, I got delivered the wrong bar. They basically sent me a 6' table with a smaller table on top with black skirting (they should not call that a bar). The tables were old and beat up, it just looked horrible. When I raised the issue Genesis called me and, first she said that they didn't have a bar with grass skirting, so I reminded her that I saw it on their website and that the delivery guys have just told me that they did, then she said yes we do but that bar has been booked since March. Note that the Bar I ordered was going to a Hotel that had placed a bigger order than mine. Also, the hotel was going to use it on July 4th, so she could have easily just offer to have it picked up to bring it to me the next day, but Genesis did nothing to help me out, didn't offer me any solutions and refused to refund me my money. If I can give 0 stars I would. This was by far the worse experience I have ever had with a rental company. Not only was the quality of the product “terrible”, cause there’s no other word I can possibly use to describe it, but the service and responses were not what I expected. My baby shower is this Saturday, weekend after Thanksgiving. If anyone knows how crazy of time this is to find rentals, then you know what a struggle it was to look for an alternative. After renting the chairs and farmhouse table a month in advance, what was delivered was horrible!! The chairs were broken, worn, and most of all, missing pieces! When I called, I was told the chairs were supposed to be “vintage” looking. I’m not sure what this companies definition to vintage is but it seems they are using the word incorrectly. After calling over 30 other companies, I was finally able to find a replacement for the chairs. I called this company to pick up the chairs but that I would still be needing the tables for the event. Unfortunately, they don’t read well and picked up everything. I’ve emailed and called and no answer. I’ve had to now also look for tables just 3 days before my shower. It’s ridiculous!
