I usually dont take the time to do a customer response, but the service I received was so good I feel the need to give credit when credit is due. I have been buying my appliances from this company my entire adult life now, I will be 60 this year. In July I purchase a washing machine and I couldnt be happier. I paid the extra $42.00 to have the machine delivered and installed and removal of the old one. A man name Steve arrived right on time, he was alone so no other person to help with this job. He interduced himself and came in to check things out to do the removal of the old machine. Not only did he do the process of removing the old machine carefully, but he was so nice he allowed me a few minutes to clean up the floor, which was a mess under the machine. This is where I was so moved by the kindness and service we received that day. I wasnt able to get some old stuck on material off the laundry room floor. It was there when we bought the place, we tried to get it off before. It required a putty knife ( which I had the tools needed), but we are older now and this required a strong arm to get it off the floor. I wanted off the floor so once again, I tried like crazy to scrape it off quickly so he could continue the install of my new washing machine. Steve was patiently waiting, but I wasnt able to do the task. Steve was sooo nice he offered to help me with this, he took the time and got that mess off my floor for me. As if that wasnt enough already, then he even cleaned it all up for me before going out to get the new machine to install. After installing the machine Steve did a short test of the machine to be sure it was working properly and hoses werent leaking water and he balanced the machine for us. Steve was not in any mad rush to get out of there, he was careful not to do any damage to our home in the process of moving the machines. I couldnt be happier, from the excellent in store customer service and assistance I got finding the type machine I wanted, in the price range I wanted to spend (I paid $280.00 for a Kenmore brand machine), and it comes with a fair warrenty as all their products do. I expected it would be a few days for the delivery, but they scheduled my delivery for the NEXT day. I should add, it came with brand new hoses on it (that saved me $30.00). I was in and out of the store in less than hour. What really put this company above ALL the others is, the 10 Star Delivery Service we received. Steve, went above and beyond his duties to help us out. Thank you soooo much Steve.
Sincerely your long standing Happy Customer, K. Herrera In Granite Bay, Ca.

Read moreWent to AW at the end of January and purchased a refrigerator, washer and dryer. Then had a very large selection of appliances to meet almost any budget. The sales staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. We showed them pictures of our hook ups (it was our first time purchasing our own alliances) and they pointed us towards the correct type of appliances. The appliances were delivered and hooked up the next day. The guy was super informative and friendly. The appliances come with a 60 day in-home warranty with the option to leave an honest review of the store for an additional free 30 days. After the initial 60-90 days, the appliances are covered under a year warranty, however the customer is responsible for transporting the appliance back to the warehouse.
Fast forward about a month, I noticed that the washer was leaking water. I contacted the store and they sent a repair person to the house within the next 24 hours. The man came out and replaced a valve. He did the job, packed up and left. He did not provide much additional information. Two weeks later, water was on the floor again. I contacted the store again and they sent another repair person. This guy, Chris, was much more informative and asked questions to try to diagnose the issue. He had to track down a part and said he would have to come back to complete the repair. He came back two days later and replaced two more parts.
Overall, our interactions with AW have been quick, easy, and overall positive. Fingers crossed that the issue is...
Read moreAvoid if you can. Our dryer stopped working and technician said the motor needs replacement and I asked if the dryer ever had a replacement motor before and he said probably not. It is just crazy to me that after 40 years the motor quits after 2 years with us. Nothing we do pushes the machine to its limits.
I bought an old washer and dryer. 1980s Kenmore ultra fabric care series. It was a good deal at the time, we were moving into a house and needed something soon. They both worked well for a time but after 2 years things are starting to not work.
The dryer stopped working and had to pay $75 just for the tech to come out to even look at it. We had to pay by phone before the tech was scheduled. The washer presumably had multiple owners as noted by the few permanent marker markings on the back of the machine.
The technician seems like a good guy who means well, he came out and mentioned that the dryer likely never had a motor replacement in its 40 years. So 40 years of working perfectly we get it from Appliance Warehouse and 2 years later it needs a replacement. This doesn't add up, its too coincidental, we never do full loads, we never did more than half. The cost of repair is more than 60% the total value of the machine. The whole place smells like they make a lot of their money from repairs.
Just buy new, not from Appliance Warehouse. They told us a few times to avoid all brands besides Kenmore...
