I would never stay here again, even if you paid me. The owners were rude as hell! Long but let me explain. I checked in at 7 because I was heading to the Garth Brooks concert. She was saying how she was surprised I booked because they were booked but she had a cancellation so that must be why I was able to book. I drop my stuff and my dog off in the room real quick and head to the concert. By the time the concert was over and I had a very late dinner with my friend it was 4 am when I got back to the room (my dog had a potty box, food, water and toys so he was taken care of). I am so exhausted and in a ton of pain at this point because I'm disabled. I pass out, hard. I wake up long enough to call them to request another night. Then I pass out again after taking more pain meds because I literally could not walk I was hurting so much. I wake up around 10:30 PM and I notice at this point how bad the room is. I have to juggle the light switch to get the light to stay on. The bathroom is so dirtying (especially the bathtub, see photos) that I wouldn't take a shower in it, considering I sweated like crazy at the concert that should tell you something. There are brown streaks all down the walls. There is mold on the ceiling. I go to get ready to get some food and notice there is a burn mark and nail polish on the night stand. At this point I'm annoyed but like whatever. I go with my dog and get some dry shampoo and wet wipes and food. When I get back to the hotel my key doesn't work so I go to the office building and ring the doorbell. The lady comes to the night window in pajamas and bed head. I explain the issue and she has me sign for the second night. Then she asks if I have a dog with me and I'm like ya? I thought my mom (that made the reservation) put that on there and that was why the price was higher than what my mom told me the reservation was. Apparently it wasn't on there and thankfully she only charged me $20 for one night with a pet vs $20 EACH night for a pet. I go back to my room and stay up for a bit to play with my dog. While playing with him I notice that under the sink there's drywall missing. Under the heating/ac unit there is a plug with no cover and exposed wires. Went to put food in the fridge and noticed the bottom was dirty. Checked the microwave and it wasnt cleaned either. No trashcan, just the ice bucket. Then noticed the most upsetting thing, the smoke alarm had been removed from the wall. I was in a smoking room but pretty sure they still need to have a smoke alarm in them? At this point I don't want to wake that lady up again and figure I'll deal with it at check out. When I tell the same lady I dealt with during check in, and the night before with my key not working that the room was really bad and they shouldn't be renting it out like that she gets really snippy and says "well you should've told me before staying in it two days". I try to explain that I got in super late the first night and passed out till the second night and she cuts me off saying that she would've moved me to a different room if I had told her when I called in the morning to book another night. I tried telling her I hadn't noticed how bad everything was and that I was disabled and unable to even get out of bed let alone move rooms at that point. She walks out of the room while I'm trying to talk to her and cuts me off saying that I stayed in that room 2 days and should've told her before. At this point I'm annoyed and yell to the back "wow great customer service walking away when I'm trying to tell you something." She yells from the back that the only reason I'm mad is because she charged me for my dog and I got caught lying about having a dog and to have a good day. I just laugh, shake my head and leave. I never lied about having a dog. So now I'm on here, warning you to look at other reviews of this place like I should have. This place is gross and the manager? is snippy, rude and has horrible customer service.

DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT STAY HERE. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had with a motel. Everything was terrible. It was HORRIFIC. We reserved a NON SMOKING room a month in advance through Priceline, and when we checked in with OUR ALMOST FOUR MONTH OLD we were placed in a smoking room. I could not believe how horrible the conditions were. I did not want to be there. Everything was dirty, disgusting, old, and in terrible condition. We’ve stayed in motels before since they are cheap for a few nights but this was the absolute worst. I didn’t want our baby to sleep in the smoke so I told the guy helping us that we needed to be moved. He moved us to another room, but it had an ozone air/odor remover in it. It didn’t smell too bad in that room so we assumed it was a better room. WRONG. This room was also in the same disgusting state. I could not believe it. The bedcovers had holes in them. The sheets had pubic hair, and the blankets had gross skin or something on it. We told the guy that we needed new sheets and that the bed wasn’t clean then some woman got on the phone with him. She proceeded to scream at him over the phone for some random crap while he was helping us. (????) It was super unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable with the whole situation. We just wanted a clean bed. The floor wasn’t swept, the walls had gross stains, the water smelled bad, the bed was festering in whatever crap, and after like 10 minutes the guy goes “I can see if I can get you clean sheets”, left and came back and said they didn’t have any available. So, we went to Ross to get our own, but when we returned, the room smelled like gross smoke again. I was grossed out so I made sure to also buy cleaner and soap, because we paid like $200 for three nights which for a short stay is EXPENSIVE. We had been traveling all day with our baby. We expected better. Anyways, I cleaned every surface with disinfectant, and we stripped the bed of the gross bedding. We decided to make it work because oh my gosh we were stupid and tired. Traveling with a baby has been difficult. Overnight I cried because what the crap man! My child had to breathe in that gross smell. In the morning I figured out they just moved us to another crappy smoking room, and the terrible smell everywhere was smoke. (Why did they do that???)Why didn’t they move us to a non-smoking room with my baby??? We told the front desk lady about our situation and she moved us to a non-smoking room but IN THE MORNING???? WHY DIDNT WE GET THE NON-SMOKING ROOM IN THE FIRST PLACE??? But at that point I was finished. We had to get out. WE WERE NOT STAYING. This place is terrible. My husband and I got a better hotel at a similar price and decided to check out ASAP because we got the other hotel THEN AND THERE. We got the full $50 security deposit back but the lady said they NEVER GIVE REFUNDS??? I asked for a refund because they didn’t deliver what we paid for. We paid for three days. We have the paperwork and everything for a NON-SMOKING ROOM. We did this whole MONTH IN ADVANCE. And they don’t give refunds????? Are you joking?

Recently I was fortunate to have gotten assistance with a motel to stay in due to my homelessness. I was overjoyed at the thought of not having to worry about a place to sleep for a few weeks! But my joy quickly became my nightmare. My room looked pretty dingy, but I was so grateful to be off the street, I didn't care. Until I crawled into bed. I've never experienced bed bugs before, so I didn't know what was happening. But I figured it out after a few hrs of being in bed and I was horrified by what I saw! I pulled blanket and sheets back and the first thing I see is a bug crawling out of the seam. I went to the office and spoke to owner(?) and she proceeded to tell me that I was the one that brought them in!That they couldn't have been there before. She was so mean & rude, I didn't understand why. After 2 days of trying to reason with her, she had a housekeeper come spray. But not the chair next to bed. She didnt vacuum. I went and got supplies and did ut. But it didn't work. I had giant bites and welts all over my body and now scars to show. And then to top off this horrible stay, I watched the owner stand down in the parking lot and yell at customer's, calling them names that were shocking and then kick them out! I would give maids my dirty towels and wait 2 days to get more. Waited 4 days for TP, then was accused of locking out the housekeeper's. What? This owner (woman) is the rudest & mean person. I went to ask for a key one day and she started yelling at me! It wasn't necessary. I was always very respectful to her, but she told me to leave, then wouldn't give me another key to get my stuff out of room until the police came! I'm just a 63yr old lady that doesn't try to cause any trouble, I treat everyone with respect, try to be the best, kind person I can and I didn't deserve any of this woman's wrath. Then the police went to another girl's room and I saw her start to cry, so who knows? You don't want to go to the Budget Inn! It is filthy and the smell of the rooms is almost unbearable. Not to mention being hollered at and called a liar, repeatedly! Now I'm back on the street because this woman doesn't care about homeless ppl one bit. I saw room after room of ppl get told to leave. Pic is of heater in room after I cleaned it 3x's. Don't go to the Budget Inn if you don't want to come out scared. In every way....

I don't typically write bad reviews but I have to write this one. I know the hotel staff won't see this since they don't care, so I'll make it as harsh as possible. The place is cheap, but it's probably worth paying a little more to avoid all this hassle. We arrived at the front desk to check in and paid the $50 deposit. When we got in to our room (#126) the place was tiny and the bed was dirty and there was pee all over the toilet seat. We called the front desk and they sent some guy over. It was 98 degrees so we blasted the AC while we wait, but then suddenly the AC blew out and started heating up the room. The guy who cleaned the toilet then started working on the AC. He worked on it for 20 minutes while we waited in smoldering heat. The normal thing to do is to immediately switch rooms for the guests but the hotel staff seems uninterested in doing that, instead told us to wait in our hotbox room until they can get approval from their "boss." We went out and sightsee Boise for a few hours and then returned thinking our new room would be ready. It wasn't and we were told to go back to our hotbox for now. The best they could do is give us a fan. We went out again for a few hours and when we got back to the motel at 6PM they finally gave us a new room (#128). We were excited to move all of our stuff but then the nightmare continues because this unit also has a broken AC. Long story short they had to move us to a third room (#129) before we finally a had a room in working order that we paid for. The next morning we were so happy to check out and leave this god forsaken place. We left the room pristine and the clerk even called someone to check on the room to make sure before "giving us our deposit back." He made me swipe my credit card again for some reason instead of just reversing the charge. The funny feeling I had about this turns out to be warranted as the $50 deposit was posted (not pending) into my credit card. I called Budget Inn immediately and as expected they offered no help and claimed they give my deposit back and it's an issue with my bank. These people are malicious fraudsters at worst and incompetent at best. Do not stay here unless you want your deposit stolen and be given the runaround when there's an issue.

If I could give a negative star review I absolutely would! I have never experienced such an unprofessional encounter in any establishment. My daughter is a student at Boise state and while down visiting for parents weekend I selected this hotel mostly for the price and location. My daughter and her childhood friend met us at the hotel as we prepared to go see the sites and I was verbally assaulted by the owner of all people who screamed at me for having people there I can understand not wanting to turn this disgusting hotel into a trap but there was absolutely no understanding in this woman. She proceeded to call me a liar when I informed her that I was given the rules. She accused us of smoking weed (with the door and curtains open) and was screaming at the top of her lungs. If that wasn’t bad enough when I went in the next day to let them know I would have a vehicle with me trying to avoid any further alterations she was screaming at an employee and didn’t miss a beat to start back in on me. That alone would have me tell people this is not the place to go but also the room was disgusting. There was still urine on the toilet the shower handle was broken as well as the lamp shade. The entire experience was horrible and the owner is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have encountered. She kept my deposit for having my daughter in the room. I would absolutely say AVOID SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE!

STAY AWAY!!!!! For the love of god, stay away from this hell on earth. I’m hoping I leave here without being carried off by bugs in the night, it’s that horrific. This place legit makes The Lotus look like the Four Seasons. No a/c, the place is absolutely disgusting, there were used towels from other people they hadn’t picked up, and I’m more than positive all the employees share a brain between them. I rented a room before I went to work at 9:00pm and let the guy at the front desk know the a/c wasn’t working, he said it just needed to kick on. I got back from work at 4:00am and it was hot and smelt like humid trash in the room. I told the front desk and he said he would tell maintenance in the morning. I asked if he could get me a new room and he said not at 4:00am, if he knew he could have. I told him I told the guy before I left and the dude just left. Bunch of creepy people running this place. But I think the funniest part was me having to wait till the guy inspected the room to get my money back they held. How in the HELL could I have made that room any worse??!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
