Diamonds and Gold Inc. — Attraction in Hope Mills

I want this to come across as a legitimate review not just an angry customer because it didn't have to be like this, I thought this was a cool store. Shoppers Beware. First time I come in, they hit me with the you're a new customer so here's your discount of 50% i think hmmm interesting but whatever, I stumble across an Invicta watch. I got the same one when I was a young adult, had some rough times and I sold it for cheap. When I saw this same model, I decided I wanted it for memory sake. There's no price on the watch, they decide its fair market value is $795.00 so they'll cut me a deal all the way down to $350.00 I later pull up the Invicta website on the way home which is dog shit also btw, I don't know where but there's some database that has this valuated at 795.00$ retail price on Ebay BUT all recent sales are around the $100.00 mark for the vendor that boasts this 795 price is selling it for 95.12 List price US $795.00 (88% off) it is NOT worth that much. The Invicta Brand Site is selling the watches for 79.90 people!! claiming they're price cutting the model model 6983 from a staggering 348.00 to 79.90. I paid 350$ for the watch at Diamonds and Gold Inc. Moral of the story you shop here, you get robbed. As a new customer it wouldn't have been so bad if the price-tag just said 350, but you guys feed me all this bullshit about welcome to the family and vip club and memberships and trick unsuspecting people into paying 300-400% over fair market value for these items, the damn watch didn't just go on sale the day after I bought it, and its not my fault if business bought it and now has to sell it at egregious amounts and trick me to make up for their revenue loss, that's not how good businesses operate. Could've just said nothing and let me pay the damn 350.00 for the the watch, and told me to have a good day, then wouldn't even feel weird about it or think this was even worth writing. Wont be back. I went to this store on January 3 2020 Fri. at the flea market on Bragg Blvd. I'm retired military and heard of them on the radio, so come to find out their advertisement is very misleading, while they saying no credit check and instant credit, that's not totally correct, they fail to mention that you must have a banking account, so when I provided them with my banking info which is savings only, then they told me I needed a checking account so I spent 2 hours on the phone with my bank (usaa) and opened up a checking account, then they said I had to wait 90 days and send them my bank statements, not from my savings acc. but checking acc. They could of told me that up front and I wouldn't of wasted 2 hours or more. The staff inside assured me I would get approved and leave with the necklace of my choice, that was a lie, their deceptive practices is a tool to lower folks in and give them false hope, I messaged them on their website and got an instant message that someone will get back to me, well its 3 days later and no one responded! Please don't trust these shady individuals especially with your personal info. they make up their precises, there's nothing written in stone. (no price list)...

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! negative stars:( first i take my ring in the day after Christmas because i had a diamond fall out. they told me they could order the diamond an have it done by the end of the week. they told me they would call me when it was done. Friday comes no call. so i wait til Monday and call them, they tell me that the diamond is taking longer, should be a few more days. so they will call me. still NO CALL. the third week i call everyday. no call back. i call leave a message yesterday saying im tired of this and im coming to get my ring. today i get a call of miracle my ring is done. my husband gets there to pick it up, they tell him ok the price is 150$ he goes can i see the ring, so he takes it out of the box,NOT ONLY WAS THERE NO DIAMOND, BUT THE CUT THE PRONGS OFF MY RING, AND LOOSENED MY OTHER DIAMONDS!!! MY ADVICE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOSE YOUR DIAMONDS ,MONEY AND TIME DON'T GO THERE! AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWFUL!!! in my book they get negative stars fo just being shady people....
