Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in North Carolina

I would have given it 3 stars however when I first thought to put up this review, my wife thought to call and talk to the manager first see if the suggestion she had would be taken into account and I would give maybe 4 stars, however due to the attitude my wife was given if I could put no stars I would. This location is right in the middle of 2 neighborhoods and 2 or 3 apartment complex developments where families can walk to the store in less than 5 mins for a treat and walk home. As my wife walked in a lady walked out with a nicely done waffle bowl set up. My wife said that's what she wanted and our son wanted, mind you we're new to this area and there wasn't a store location in our former town. My wife and kids ordered two bowls thinking it would be done up like the one that we saw to go. The kids working behind counter asked to go we said yes not knowing buying a bowl was pointless because they didn't even put the ice cream in the bowl the shoved it all into a container and handed everything over. My wife tried to look over the counter to make sure they added everything but because the counter is so blocked up and cluttered she couldn't tell nor did she know hers had even been fixed. She was going to also ask for caramel to be added but it was to late. We left, she was so disappointed she completely lost her mood for it and just gave it to one of our other kids. When she called to talk to the manager and offer the suggestion they ask if they wanted it fixed up or just crammed in a box or were we walking because of the neighborhood around she got nothing but excuses and blamed the management just repeatedly said it was just her fault for not knowing and manager got even offended at the suggestion. My wife is a marketing director to a designer and was just trying to offer a solution for future mix up to be avoided and a benefit with the location. But we'll now think twice about returning and just reserve our ice cream store favorite to the one by our son's high school, which is way over...

I think this is our fault because we went to this location about 7 months ago and the ice cream was absolutely horrible but we decided last night to give it a shot again and we were sadly disappointed again so much so that we threw out the whole ice cream that we paid for after just a little nibble. Let me start by saying we ordered something the gentleman brings it to the cash register and I told him is this what we ordered because it has sprinkles in it what we ordered was chocolate and peanut butter what we got was peanut butter vanilla ice cream with some blue and purple or whatever sugar crystals he said yeah that's what you ordered me being who I am and not being confrontational I said that's fine okay we'll take it especially since there was a line of people and I didn't want anybody else to have to wait because we had to have our stuff remade. So once we got to our vehicle we gave it a shot and tasted the product that was made that we definitely did not ask for and it was absolutely horrendous so we just went in through it in the trash can. Definitely will not be going back to this location the customer service is not the best at all anymore half the time you don't know if you're going to get freezer burnt ice cream or not and now after this it's just a...

I was greeted upon entering the store, but had to wait a minute or two for the two teenagers to stop talking. Granted... they were in the middle of replacing two flavors, but they should have said to give them a minute or something (1st red flag). They were just having a conversation over the ice cream. I couldn't help but to think how they gotta be spitting over the ice cream (I prayed that wasn't the case because I REALLY wanted some ice cream). Long story, short.... I ordered the banana pudding ice cream. I was not satisfied because (after the young lady finished her conversation and decided to ask me what I wanted) the young lady would not follow instructions. I told her to put more cookies- she would pick up more and drop a couple (did that twice). She put too much whip cream.... anyway- she didn't do a good job. I threw it away. I didn't get her name. Was not a good visit. However, I must say that I've had this flavor on a different day and the customer service was excellent and my ice cream was perfect.
