Dollar Tree — Attraction in North Augusta

This store is terrible. My receipt was given to me cut off at the bottom. So it didn't even show what method of payment I use and it did not even have all of the items that I bought listed.

So when I took it to the store with my items to return them, I was told that they do not do returns and only do exchanges, and all of this information is printed clearly on the receipt they said. However, like I said, my receipt was given to me with the bottom part missing and there was no mention anywhere on my receipt of this policy that they claimed was there on my receipt.

I looked around and there is no sign stating this policy clearly either. So it is very confusing. They counted my items and told me I could exchange them but they also miscounted them. I decided to leave. I looked it up online and found that it is their policy to only offer exchanges. However, this should be clearly posted somewhere in the store near the checkout.

Unfortunately my receipt was damaged when they handed it to me. So I am blaming the store and the checkout clerk for ripping the receipt in correctly and giving it to me. Otherwise I guess the information be there in black and white and I would be in the wrong. It's unfortunate that my receipt was damaged and I may not get credit for all the items that I paid for. I suppose it could be said that it's my fault for taking a receipt that is ripped and correctly.

So often we trust the clerks to do their job and never have I gotten the receipt that was ripped incorrectly, so this is a totally new experience.

I took my out of town family to this Dollar Tree yesterday and I was so embarrassed!! It was cluttered with product and boxes on the floor. Some isles were hard to walk down. It smelled bad. The floors were filthy with areas throughout of sticky liquid that had spilled and dirt had dried to them. There were at least 4 employees just standing around talking when they obviously should have been being managed by someone to get the place cleaned up. The only positive was the cashier.
