The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld is a true gem in the heart of Orlando, and it thoroughly deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that this hotel has mastered the art of balancing affordability with high-end hospitality, making it a standout choice for both families and solo travelers alike. In a city where prices can easily skyrocket, the DoubleTree offers incredible value for money without compromising on quality. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers such a rich experience at such a reasonable rate, making it an excellent option for anyone looking to stretch their travel budget while still enjoying top-tier accommodations. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a few feet away from SeaWorld, Aquatica, and other major attractions. The convenience of being able to walk or take a short drive to some of Orlando’s best entertainment venues is a huge plus. And yet, despite its proximity to all the action, the hotel’s grounds are surprisingly peaceful, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of adventures. The staff here deserves special recognition. From the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant servers, every team member goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. They’re not just professional, but also genuinely warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request set a high standard for customer service. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority at this DoubleTree location. The rooms are immaculate, and the common areas are consistently well-maintained. Whether you’re lounging by one of the pools or enjoying a meal in one of the hotel’s dining areas, you can feel confident that everything around you is in order. The hotel’s landscaping is nothing short of spectacular. Lush gardens, water features, fountains, towering palms, and carefully manicured lawns create an oasis-like atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The architecture seamlessly blends with the natural surroundings, offering a mix of modern comforts and tropical charm. The design of the buildings and the thoughtful layout of the property make it easy to navigate while also providing plenty of quiet corners to relax. The amenities at DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld are extensive and thoughtfully curated to meet the needs of all guests. The hotel boasts multiple pools, including a tranquil lagoon-style pool perfect for unwinding, as well as more family-friendly options with exciting features for kids. The on-site general store is incredibly convenient, offering everything from snacks to sundries, so you’re never caught without essentials. Additionally, the presence of a UPS store on the property is a godsend for business travelers or anyone needing to ship items during their stay. The variety of restaurants and bars within the hotel is truly impressive. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal by the pool or a more upscale dining experience, there’s something to suit every taste. The hotel’s culinary offerings are diverse, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients that cater to a range of dietary preferences. The bars are equally varied, from lively spots to enjoy a cocktail with friends to quieter lounges where you can relax with a glass of wine. The dining options alone make it easy to spend an entire day on the property without feeling the need to venture out. Overall, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination in itself. Whether you’re here for the nearby attractions or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this hotel has everything you could possibly need and more. Highly recommended for its exceptional value, unbeatable location, and a level of service that’s second to none.

Before checking in to the hotel we were aware of the $84 resort fee and needing a valid CC to hold a certain amount as insurance in the event there is any damage…usually hotels will hold up to $150. The day of check in we were advised of the resort fee…and hold of $136, however we would also be charged a $30 parking fee for each day we parked at the resort (crazy right?). So at check in we authorized and signed for an additional $315 approximately. Saturday morning…checking our bank accounts we see the resort fee charged TWICE …plus a charge of $69.15 that came through at 4 am that morning. We go to the front desk to get an understanding of why and was told the charges were just holds. Sunday morning (checkout day)…checked the account again and a $45.16 charge attempted. We again tried to get an understanding of the random charges only to find out that we were indeed charged twice for the resort fee and an “I don’t know response” regarding the $69.15 snd $45,16 fee that was labeled “miscellaneous” on the expense report. However, again we were advised that all charges except one resort fee would be reversed. Come Tuesday I’m on the phone still trying to get this problem resolved because charges posted. The way our hotel room looked…outdated, EXTREMELY filthy carpet, like someone left dirt and mud everywhere, AC/Heat unit broken (pieces kept coming unattached and falling), room service coming in attempting to clean, taking dirty towels but not leaving clean towels , and turning off the AC in 90 degree weather. the 7am noise outside the door of carts rolling pass, the unwelcoming front desk…we should not have had to come out of pocket an additional $315 on top of the $300 total stay. Not only that but paying for parking and still having to walk far just to reach the room due to limited spaces to park near our room. This was a total rip off. I’ve paid less for rooms with a least a 55 inch TV and carpet that did not look infested. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonable price as this hotel gives $30 a night verses $80. Maybe the actual hotel tower has better up to date rooms but the “motel 6” model we were put in …is not. I would also not recommend this hotel due to the unauthorized activities on our bank account. The hotel will also need to update their site to advise of that crazy parking fee per day…that would be helpful.

This is the worst Hilton hotel I ever stayed at, and I'm generally a Hilton hotel girl. This is far from a 4-star hotel. I checked in at 1 p.m., but the room was not ready, which is fine since the standard check-in is not till 4pm. I did request a quiet room. At 9:30pm I got my keys for room 1900. The room is situated under some exhaust vent, and a loud humming noise vibrated throughout the room. I quickly called the lobby but there was no answer. I went straight to the lobby with a video I took of the issue for a room change. I was basically ignored while standing in the diamond and gold member line. 2 other groups walked in, and they took care of them while I stood there like an idiot. I had to wait until the 2 groups that came in after me were done before I could specifically get their attention. The hotel rep said he would need to ask the manager for approval on the room change. He came back 5 mins later and said they were fully booked for the night and will see if they can make a switch tomorrow. Meanwhile, they were still checking in new guests, so I'm not sure where there were no other rooms available comments came from. I requested to speak with the manager, who came and said there was nothing he could do. This was a 3 night booking, and there was no way I could put up with it. Once I proceeded to request a cancellation and go look for a hotel elsewhere, he said, "Did you just walk in the room and walk back out?". I said yes, and the noise was unbearable. Then he said he could put me in another room but not the king-size room I originally booked. Why should it take this much effort for them to correct their mistakes? I got placed 2 buildings down, but now this place has a crowd gathering right outside my room until 2:30am making all sorts of noise. And night 2, the same issue. The room is dated and old. Sheets are dirty with other people's hair on it. The bathroom has a raggedy torn shower curtain that doesn't keep the water from flowing out. The fridge is not cold, and the hair dryer is broken. With this experience, I think I'm going to have to reconsider my choices if I'm even going to choose Hilton again.
