The food was good but unfortunately the service was unforgettably disturbing. We were seated right away when we arrived for our reservation but then I watched other parties who arrived after us be serviced before us. I overheard the waiter go over the "special of the day" with a party near us but when he came to our table he failed to mention anything about the special. I had to bring it to his attention and he used the excuse that he thought the other waiter had already told us... Food was flavorful but my husband's risotto was undercooked and gritty. The seafood and tomato sauce atop of the risotto was delicious. He let the waiter know, who then had it remade, but returned with another undercooked dished and told us "Italians eat their food al dente." My husband being a chef himself already knew what it was at that time. He ordered another meal instead. I had the seafood linguine which was very good. The sauce was flavorful and they put enough sauce in the dish. Usually I have to order extra sauce with my pasta. The scallops in the pasta were delicious and cooked perfectly... I watched the waiters box up other parties' leftovers for them but for us they did not. He left the to-go box on the table for us to do ourselves. For the amount of money we spent, I expected this service to be done. I listened to the waiters go over the desserts with other parties as well but we were not even asked about wanting dessert. After my husband explained to the waiter that his risotto was undercooked, he started avoiding our table altogether. I left feeling very bothered. It's very unfortunate that in 2022 we still have to deal with this type of treatment. We would have gladly returned solely based on the food but I refuse to spend my hard earned money where I'm not wanted.

The service was a little rough. The food was good, but not consistently good. For example, chicken parmesan was great, but spagetti that came with it was not that great. Tomato sauces were too ketchupy. Also, to the waiters: if meals come with salads or sides, don't make a confusion by asking if a client wants a salad and making us think we have to pay extra, if we say yes. Say it is included or just bring the damn salad... 🙄 Also, we didn't like adding automatically 20% to groups over 5 people. We are always good with tips, but maybe other people not... however, 5 people is a pretty small group. It would make sense to 8 or 10+ people... They also had another suggested line for more tips after the automatically included 20% tip... Also, there was no music in the background. I wish they would play something soft. It definitely affected the athmosphere, made it more business like, but the dinner was late at night and definitely most people there were not sitting there for business 🙄 We spent there quite a lot of money and I just wish it was more smooth and enjoyable. Would I go back? I probably would... So, I guess it is a hit or miss place.

I would give it five stars if I evaluated food only, because the food was excellent! I ordered eggplant parmigiana (I often order it in Italian restaurants) and it's the best eggplant parm I've had so far - eggplant was soft and airy and not overloaded with oil, as it absorbs a lot. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Garlic bread was delicious and fresh! And the salad, seemingly simple, had a very yummy dressing. The restaurant seemed a bit dark though. They could have used small lights if they wanted to make a cozier ambiance. Music would be nice too. The service was good but not the best. I'm not sure if it was a culture/personality difference or the server didn't seem like he cared much. I felt like he was performing his duties in a mechanical manner, like steps he needed to check off and move on. I didn't feel much engagement there, which kinda put a damper on my experience. Other staff members, not sure if it was a manager or something - were nice and more engaging.

Came here last night they were reservations only. So we made reservations for the next night. We arrived 10- 15 minutes before our reserved time. We sat down and we were completely ignored by our waiter. We sat for over 10 minutes before he even came to the table. Got us our water. After waiting over 15 more minutes, He then proceeded to take orders for 2 tables sat after us, before taking ours. After about a total of 30 minutes he took our order. Heathen disappeared for we truly don't know how long. Another waiter noticed and took it upon himself to bring us our food and refill my husband's wine, which he had to go see what kind of wine it was because our waiter chose for him. We wached as he catered and waited hand and foot on 2 tables while ignoring us when we said "excuse me!" 3 times loudly, I waved at him, he waved back and walked off. Other tables left and he flipped them and cleaned and set them still. Before coming back to our table. We were there for 2 hours when it should've taken 45 minutes to an hour. As for the food the portion was extremely small for the price and it wasn't that great our daughter didn't even eat the pasta maybe a couple bites. The wine the waiter took it upon himself to choose for us with $15 a glass..... but it was decent.

I have eaten in restaurants all over the world, the best if the best, fast food and in between. This server whose name on the receipt said Sean, older gentleman with glasses, was by far the worst waiter/service I have ever had.

Will never go back nor will I even mention it to friends. Even if I tell them about this terrible experience, I will not speak the name of the...

Unprofessional service, dishonest transparency with pricing, and poor gluten free options. Before leaving, the manager called us “ridiculous” and used explicits at a decibel high enough the entire restaurant could witness. It was an uncomfortable experience not worth the food that ultimately made me sick. The restaurant was moderately busy, but the noise volume was so loud we had to pause or repeat ourselves to communicate at a table of 4. Requiring gluten free, I was originally told I could order anything on the menu and they would swap out their gf penne noodles. However, once our food arrived the chef informed my waiter that was not true. I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for them to make a new gf option while my party ate. The noodles were undercooked which led to a chewy bowl of pasta with too much sauce. Our waiter tried to be accommodating throughout the night, but the trouble began when it was time to pay. After reviewing our check, we noticed I was charged twice for my entree (included the non gf option I could not eat), a side of untouched spaghetti we were told came WITH the special but was actually $9, and an automatic gratuity charge for tables of 5 even though there were 4 of us (apparently because the hostess had sat us at a table with 5 chairs). When we advocated for removal of the charges that should not be applied, the manager was incapable of having a professional conversation or seeing the situation from the customers side. I’ve worked in the food industry for nearly 10 years and never had a manager cuss at a customer, much less in a public “relaxing” atmosphere. We will...
