LUCKY BOWL ( Chinese Kitchen & Sushi, Poke Bowl) — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

Pretty good overall, but with sushi, you get what you pay for. I had really high hopes given the other reviews, but was a little disappointed. I stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday night. The restaurant wasn’t very busy for dining in. It’s a cozy place, with a small counter and a half a dozen or so tables. I ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer and sushi dinner. The tempura was pretty good. Not super crispy fried but not bad. The sushi dinner included miso soup or a salad. I ordered the miso soup and was surprised by a very large serving, about a pint I think. It was solid and served very hot. The sushi itself was about what I should’ve expected for the price. The fish was very fresh, but the slices were on the thin side. The rice was cooked well enough, but I couldn’t tell if it was seasoned at all. And it was a bit dry. I would read it about the same quality as the sushi you get in the supermarket, which isn’t bad, but isn’t what you’d hope for on a night out either. But considering the price, I can’t really complain. And I will say that the presentation of the sushi was surprisingly attractive for the humble setting. The food was amazing, I loved every bite! But the journey to this delicious meal was crazy!

I went to the lucky bowl during the height of megacon (Saturday night) and trying to get dinner, there was 6 of us, two went to subway(two doors down), I went here (obviously) and three friends when to restaurant to the right of this place. I got an appetizer, a soup, and an entree for like 22 bucks?? It was so delicious and it was affordable and it came out within like 10 to 15 minutes of ordering it!! I walked over to the restaurant that my three friends were ordering from and placed a drink order. I then proceeded to wait with them for their food and my drink for 2 hours! My subway friends came over like 5 minutes after I placed my drink order and I knew that the Lucky bowl was the best option, I got the most food for the best price and the speed in which I got it was crazy. Next megacon I will be back to the lucky bowl and recommend it to anyone who cares about their time, money...

I start with a WOW!!! This place is amazing! To begin, they greet you will a smile 😊 and a welcoming environment. They take the time to explain the menu and check for allergies (which is special).

We placed our order and got it within 10 minutes or so and OMG!!! The presentation is on point! This is the most authentic Asian food I’ve ever had.

Its fresh! It’s a really good portion! It’s not super oily or greasy but full of FLAVOR!!!

All the ingredients taste as if they grew themselves. I am a customer for life!

If you live in orlando.. this is your spot for Asian food! If you’re visiting from out of town.. this place is a MUST STOP! Very family friendly and doesn’t smell like if you’re in the kitchen. Very pleasant and inviting dining area.

I love that they are open late so even after the parks or a movie or just need a late night meal, you can count of these guys to get you right!

I will go on to say.. the best Asian spot in Orlando hands down! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
