Discovery Cove is my all time favorite place to go for rest and relaxation. I try to go at least once a year, sometimes with others, sometimes alone just for a self care day. It truly feels like a vacation when you arrive here and I can leave the everyday worries/ life stress behind. I don't have to plan anything, think about where to eat, wait in long lines... I just come and enjoy! I have always loved and respected the ocean and marine life. I would live by the water if I could. The Grand Reef used to be my favorite part of the park. Swimming with the fish and stingrays feels magical to me and a main reason I fell in love with the park itself. Due to what I'm sure are liability concerns after some unfortunate circumstances/ events they now require everyone to wear life vests in the reef. For me at least, it does dull some of that "magic" and the feeling of adventure and freedom the reef always gave me before. The life vests are uncomfortable and you're not able to dive down between the rocks and it limits movement. I personally think they should have a waiver system for 16 and up that you can sign to allow for the choice of no life vests for the above reasons. I still love Discovery Cove but the reef isn't near as fun anymore. Current reef rating with vests 3/ 5. Park itself 5/5. Overall rating 4/5.

7/29/2023: Although it's a Saturday, it is the worst experience throughout the whole park. Sea world oversold!! Customer service was awful and park restroom were dirty! Guest relations took 1 hour 22 min to get to me due to the longest line with just 3 staff working. I asked one of the employee and he told me 4 people call out!! Is that allowed? Management needs serious operation assessment! The supervisor....feel sorry for her, indicated she doesn't even work there but helping out because the Guest Relations mana her called out as well!! Seriously, who are the CEOs of Sea World? Is this the type of services you provide charging guests who traveled far to come to Orlando? Don't ruin the City's reputation! Disney and Universal by far exceeded customer services, food, cleanliness, and amenities! Sea World need to assess the situation seriously on what happened to the park today, 7/29/2023!

This is the best place I have gone so far in Orlando. Spent around 240 usd for this for a day. But I feel it’s totally worth. Here are the things you can do, 1) you can go for snorkeling which is amazing, lot of stingrays but there there sharks and other beautiful fishes which just makes a way thru your legs. 2) dolphin time- they let you touch play with dolphins. But the instructor will be there. This lasts for fifteen minutes. 3) there is a beach which has waves which take you for about four kilometers. You can carry safety stuff if you don’t know to swim. Apart from this they provide you food and snacks, be early there. And one more thing is they will give you swim suit. I remember, since I don’t know this, I went to Walmart to get swimsuits. I don’t want that to happen to you guys.
