Exclusive Cuts — Attraction in Katy

I’ve been coming to this place for a while because the first few times were great. I don’t speak Spanish so making appointments with my barber is difficult. After spending $40/week($20 for cut $20 for tip) on a hair cut for the last year, I WILL NO LONGER BE RETURNING. If you don’t speak Spanish you’re treated differently. The barber who cuts my hair (Nelson) would take 40 mins of which only 15 mins he was actually cutting it. The rest of the time he would pause to converse with the other barbers around him. After coming here for some time the barber started putting less detail/care into my haircut, I guess he knew it was a quick $20 regardless of the quality of the cut. Not to mention he would cut the back of neck EVERY TIME he was cleaning it up.

Mike the owner of the shop is cool and gives a quality cut everytime. If you can manage to get in with him then go for it, if not I wouldn’t...

This place is a great place to get your hair cut. I started bringing my child here first and they love it. I myself am not one to usually get my own hair professionally cut I usually either keep it shaved bald or wild long but after repeatedly seeing the great job they kept doing consistently with my children I decided to give it a whirl and man they nailed it like the pros they are. Mike the guy who cut my hair did a amazing job to the extent I even pressed my luck and asked him to clean up and trim my beard which I never let anyone touch but me and to my surprise he nailed it again. I've brought my son here a few times and they did a good job both times, he got different barbers each time. What I can say is that their customer service is so bad. We walked in and said my son needed a haircut, there were two people getting haircuts and no one else waiting but my son and I. We waited about 20 minutes and still nothing, instead the guys were playing with a basketball and not one time did they acknowledge that we were still waiting. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back here. It's so close to home and they do a good job but i can't get over their bad customer...
