Fedora's Cigar & Wine Bar — Attraction in Punta Gorda

I found out about this place through a cigar buddy of mine who lives in the area near this haunt. It's a great, classy and friendly hangout for those who don't want to just "hang out" at a bar. Both ownership and the professional wait-staff greet everyone before the door even closes behind them as they enter. In fact, those of you who remember the sitcom "Cheers" also remember how everyone in the place greeted Norm when he entered the establishment. Well, Tom remembers to say hello to all his regulars in "cheers-like" delivery. During our visit with them, my wife and I watched as Tom said hello to each regular (approximately 5 people) that entered the bar. It was hysterical! It was like I was on the set of Cheers! lol.

Their humidor is well-stocked with all the favorites, but unlike other cigar bars, they carry a good assortment of "boutique" cigars as well. The bar itself wraps around like a horseshoe right in the middle of the lounge and there is PLENTY of seating space there if you like stools. For those of you who prefer the thick, rich feel of top-grain leather ensconcing you in the comfort of an overstuffed chair or love-seat, Fedora has that too! Even the ventilation system is superior to most other lounges so you can entertain non-cigar smokers without them feeling uncomfortable.

Although limited to wine and beer, selections of both are significant and staff's knowledge of these elixirs is just as keen as their knowledge of fine cigars! The great sounds of jazz can be heard through your entire experience here which simply IMHO rounds out spending time here in near flawless perfection.

I had the pleasure of patronizing this cigar & wine bar today. I was immediately greated by Michelle, the owner. She was very polite and pleasant when she inquired of my cigar likes. She learned that I like pairing my cigars with bourbon or port. I really stopped by to see her offerings, had no intention of buying today as my humidor is full (yeah I know, i need a bigger humidor) but I left with a handful of cigars. A few were my selections, but she specifically pointed me to a My Fathers Cigar that pairs well with port, and a Perdomo cigar that pairs well with bourbon. Enjoyed three evenings at Fedora’s with Nicki taking care of us while on vacation. She was very knowledgable and helpful with cigar selection as well as an excellent host. We felt right at home and were introduced to the locals who gave us a Cheers type welcome each night we returned. Fedora’s has a great humidor with cigars at every price point.
