I decided to give this a try since I you get $5 off if you stay at the Flamingo. Let me start with the good:
The staff was friendly The process was smooth (see exception below)
Now the not so good:
The zipline itself was maybe like 15 seconds and just kind of lackluster and anticlimactic. The one downtown was definitely better. With that said I don't necessarily regret trying it out. I bought my ticket and made my way through probably 4-5 staff at different checkpoints on the way up. No problem, all is good...or so I thought. When I get to the last checkpoint where they put the harness on and have you put any personal belongings into the bag they inform me I need to remove my glasses or they will fall off. The guy also said that they don't have anymore straps as they are all on the other end of the line. I'm legally blind without my glasses. So from this point on the experience was ruined. Now I understand about the safety aspect and not wanting the glasses to fall off, that makes sense. I'm annoyed because not only was I not informed by ANYBODY throughout the process and before I got all the way up there, but because all the straps were at the end of the line. For the amount you pay you would think they could run some of the straps back to the start and at the very least inform you of this info before you get up there. It was a tad sketchy stopping at the end blind as well, just stayed in the brake position the whole time since I couldn't see the end of the line! This deserves -2 stars, and that's...
Read moreNever got to ride! Got Go City Pass and made our reservation for Sunday and went and paid $23 to park. Walked over to find they were closed because of weather, which is understandable, but why no notification or text or email to notify us. If my company had made reservations with people and then WE made the decision to close that day, we would notify everyone that we closed and that they could reschedule for another day and apologize for the inconvenience. To make it worse, now that my Go City pass had technically made a reservation, we were not able to reschedule or do a different attraction. They said they had to contact Fly LinQ and wait for a response from them. Well it is Wednesday now and still nothing. We are no longer in Vegas so it really sucks that we missed out. From other reviews, it sounds like their customer service is terrible and there is no notification when they do close and everyone recommends going to the other zipline in town. $20 million for a Zipline Attraction that is always shut down and has terrible customer service sounds like a bad investment to me! ...
Read moreGo to one of the other zipline options and avoid this place. Terrible customer service and experience. We bought tickets online which was a mistake as it goes through Ticketmaster and not them - even though it was directly off their site. Those QR codes didn't work after we stood in line at the box office, again at their secondary checkpoint by the elevators, and up on the roof. We returned downstairs to the box office and were given new tickets. Those were denied when we returned to the secondary elevator checkpoint. The worker said to go to the box office and I explained that was where the new tickets came from. A manager happened by and took our tickets but never returned. After waiting for a long time, I yelled at the person at the checkpoint to find the person that took our tickets so we could get on the ride. She called security and we were not allowed to go on the ride. It started with a problem with the tickets we ordered directly off their site and ended with terrible customer service to fix the situation. We are still waiting to see the refund to our credit card they said they...
