The Hash House is insanely indulgent and worth every last lick of the spoon for anything you choose to order. The place looks like it's too busy to function and overcrowded because it's so popular but once you ask for a table it takes no time at all. We went for dinner around prime time and got in with less than a 10 minute wait on a table for two.
Once seated, you realize how brilliant the designer was in the flow of the restaurant because crowded or not, there's plenty of room at the tables to enjoy your meal and keep a conversation with those at your table - though everyone's usually very curious to know what you ordered when they catch a glance at your food being served.
The menu is full and like a Bible for good-humored gluttony. It has anything and everything you could think to indulge in with a few surprises I'm sure you'll find intriguing. Definitely not the type of place you visit and want to try to stick to your diet! Plan ahead, people - Cheat Day! Then again, it is Vegas after all.
Service is amazing. The ladies that waited on the tables were clearly the champions and life force of the establishment as well as the glue that kept everything together. It was almost like a dance to watch them juggling a dozen plates from one table to the next only to top off a refill at another, land the check for the next and greet even more incoming traffic - and with a genuine smile. You could really tell they weren't just great at their jobs but they enjoy what they do because it shows in the way they treat every customer. And they make it look effortless to boot. Be sure to tip them well! Very sweet and hard working.
We ordered and got our food really fast and it was perfect. It looked and tasted like it had been slaved over for hours in the kitchen but the talented cooks whipped it up in no time and before we knew it we were begging for a doggy bag. Portions are huge. Prices are fair. Food is excellent and great quality too. The atmosphere is everything in Vegas and no different here. There's plenty to look at, talk about and enjoy.
It was a great evening with great company and even better food. The Hash House is an Essential Stop for anyone looking for a fast, fun and filling spot to eat and recharge on their Vegas vacation. Highly...
Read moreIf I could give this place a 0 star I would. The managers are useless (Brandon and Casey). We were a party of 4, two of us ordered “chilaquiles”, which are far from being called that, 2 pounds of tortilla chips with two scrambled eggs and barely any chicken.. the waitress brought our plates, and came three minutes later to check on us while we were still trying to find some chicken or any meat on our plates. The other two people that didn’t order chilaquiles were satisfied with their choices. The two of us who ordered them, ended up sharing plates with the others. When the waitress came back we told her about how we were not satisfied with our plates, she said we could order something else and I told her I didn’t want anything else. We asked to speak with the manager to try getting our plates discounted. This guy named Casey, who btw has no manners, completely dismissed what we said. Saying that everyone was done with their plates and he couldn’t do anything cause it was “COMMON SENSE” that we didn’t say anything at the beginning. Beginning? We barely touched the plate. Not only the food sucked but the worst part was the attitude of the manager, a rude guy, with zero consideration for customers. He would talk over us, didn’t listened to what we said, he wouldn’t even look at me in the eyes. We asked to speak with the other one who was just as useless and said he could override the other managers decision. It’s crazy to think that a restaurant located on a hotel in Las Vegas would be like this. So disappointing. Bottom line food was a 1 just because at least they manage to throw the eggs in there. Service (MANAGER) a solid -10. Do yourself a favor and do not ruin your stay in Las Vegas coming...
Read moreAbsolutely scrumptious... This is the first phrase that comes to mind as I think back on my experience with Hash House A Go Go.
Let's first start with the customer service and the wait turn time. I truly have no idea how long it took them to perfect the (only) 15 minute wait time in an endless sea of customers, however, they have truly mastered it (lol I was so impressed that I ended up asking our waitress about this). When we walked in, I immediately assumed that we would be waiting for at least an hour as this place was packed I.e. booked and busy, however, it only took us 15 minutes (if that) to get seated. Once we were seated, we were promptly greeted, with such a warm spirit (our waitress). We were then given great recommendations for food and drinks.
For appetizers, we decided on the biscuit bites and fried zucchini sticks, which were a great start to our experience (insert mouth watering Homer GIF here). These items were baked and fried, respectively, to perfection and mixed with the perfect pairing of ingredients. Then, our main dish came out (we both ordered the same thing), the crab egg Benedict, which was their special. The size was massive, the flavors were EVER-RY-THING, quite literally. Spiciness (a hint), flavor, moistness, savoriness, and sweetness (the cantelope)... All I can say is Yum, yum, YUM!
I also had the campfire s'mores mocha with baileys which was great.
Our food did not disappoint, delivering on getting your bang for your buck. Needless to say, if you haven't been here, you must go! I don't think anyone would be...
