Loud, but also unclean! The walls are quite thin, so you can hear people upstairs and next to you. The doors don't have soft closers, so you hear doors slamming constantly through the night, and of course people shouting down the hallways as well. The pool is pretty sad, and while the "fitness room" has one rather cleverly designed machine that can hit most muscles, there are no free weights and it is abysmally small. At least the TV HDMI ports are usable, and the wifi wasn't totally garbage. Would not recommend. There are plenty of other inexpensive options where the staff's only concern isnt that guests don't absolutely trash the place. p.s. there is no taxi or rideshare pickup behind the hotel (in the very large and empty parking lot), so you'll have to walk to any one of the surrounding hotels to see what a real hotel is like before you can catch a cab or Uber.

I am a little disappointed… I liked this casino better than Harrahs next door, and spent some time over here losing money on the slots. (they don’t have tables). On my last night here after getting some food. I went to the cashier and asked to exchange $20s for $50s cause my wallet was overloaded. The guy seemed annoyed then muttered something and said “this would be the only time he would exchange”. Absolutely blows my mind a cashier in Vegas told me that. They have no problem taking my money in the slots machines or for foos and drinks. Only reason I’m leaving two stars is because they have $3 any bottled beer (cash only). Also Armando at the front desk was awesome and helped me sign up for a players card and was super nice. You can tell he likes to interact with customers.

UNACCEPTABLE I reserved a three-night stay at this property, with less than high expectations due to its age and budget-friendly but great location. Upon arrival, the check-in procedure was efficient, and the initial impression of cleanliness in the room was satisfactory. However, the first night's rest was compromised by audible disturbances through the thin walls and door. The following day, I encountered a cockroach beneath the bathroom sink, prompting my request at the front desk for a room change. The staff member minimized the incident and acknowledged the occurrence as not uncommon (i.e., “it happens”) but facilitated a transfer to a different floor, albeit with a disclaimer regarding a potential ant issue on that floor.

I decided to pack up and move. The new room appeared identical and was devoid of any immediate concerns or ants, resulting in a more restful night. Yet, the subsequent morning revealed another cockroach on the wall next to the door, which I hit with my shoe and pictured and then reported to a different, slightly more empathetic staff member at the front desk. The proposed resolution was a housekeeping intervention to apply pesticide, which occurred after a few hours' wait. No further cockroach sightings were noted, although I did encounter and eliminate some minor flying insects that evening. The housekeeping attendant was super nice, but she expressed her own preference for working on higher floors due to lower-level pest challenges, which did not give me much hope for this property.

Additional issues included very poor water pressure in the showers of both rooms, the poorest I've encountered in any lodging. The safe's battery in the initial room required replacement, which security promptly addressed. The electrical outlets, seemingly past their functional lifespan, presented both inconvenience and potential safety concerns, as the plugs did would not stay fully inserted. There was a used tissue next to the foot of the bed in the second room (also pictured). Moreover, the exit to the guest quarters, while secured, was often frequented by individuals who presented a shady and disconcerting presence.

Regrettably, the overall experience fell short of my already low expectations, and the staff's response lacked the consideration I anticipated. No compensatory offerings or refunds were extended. Despite considering an early departure to seek alternative accommodations at Harrah’s next door, I opted to remain for the duration of my booking, as I did not want to pack up everything once again. It is my opinion that the establishment does not align with the reputable standards associated with the Best Western brand, and they should be ashamed for attaching their name to such a poor property. The 'Plus' in Best Western Plus, in this instance, seemed to ironically signify the additional challenges and pest-related issues encountered. Persistent rumors of the hotel’s potential demolition may indeed be a favorable course of action. Overall, my experience at Casino Royale was notably disappointing, casting a shadow over an eagerly...

I want to start by stating that I strongly dislike leaving bad reviews. I hate to complain but I want everyone who reads this to make an informed decision about the hotel you may be staying at. The only thing this Hotel/Casino has going for it is the location. If you can ignore all of the other issues that this place has, then you will be okay. I came here with my family and we had two rooms. The first issue that we faced was no luggage carts in sight. This was unfortunate because hauling 4 days' worth of luggage was a challenge. The second issue was with my mother in law's room. She has health issues, and the heater in the room was set to 68F (also, it did not show heat but cool instead) and could not be turned up for any reason. I brought this issue up to a Front Desk Rep. on our first night (Friday, December 27th @915pm; short hispanic women, would not give me her name). Unfortunately, she was rude, and I was waiting patiently on why she could not do anything about the room's heater because it's was all based on a central unit that depends on the temperature outside. I told her I understood, but the temperature in my toom (not my mother in laws) was set to Heater and set to 78F. There were more issues with her as the night went on, but in the end, I had to speak to the morning crew the next day. The morning crew assisted me, and it was all fixed after that. The third issue was the pizza hut at this location only has personal pizzas for 8.99. What a joke, and I will say how unfortunate it is that a larger pizza could not be purchased for me and my family. The fourth issue, the casino attendent that was out on Saturday night on December 28th @ 1105pm was rude and avoided my wife, her sister, and her mom. I understand work can be hard and sometimes you do not want to be there but you have a duty to do your job as best as you can. The fifth issue was that the elevators only accommodated 3 people at a time, and I found myself taking the stairs more often than the elevators. The sixth issue was that the pool was supposed to be heated, but unfortunately, that is not true. The temperature is warm enough to where you may enjoy the water for 20 minutes, but as soon as the wind comes into play, you will likely get cold and have to retreat to your room. Also, the pool is only open from, I believe, 8am-10pm. Finally, the only thing this poor excuse of a building has going for it is the location. I would like to give a shout out to Lori and Laura, the morning front desk rep I spoke to and a housekeeper on the hotel floor. These two women were great, and I appreciate everything they have done for me and my family. If you read this review all the way through, then thank you for your time, and please choose your...

A few things: when we made our 3 night reservation over the phone the clerk for some reason booked us into a completely different best western for the third night, across the city. We found this out when we couldn't access our room after coming back from a swim. The other room was booked way across town about 30 minutes from the strip, and with no car this made our vacation very impractical. Not sure how best western could mess up a room reservation so badly but they did. The clerk didn't confirm how long we were staying when we checked in otherwise we could have solved the problem then. Instead of being locked out of our room in the middle of the day. Thank heavens we didn't stay later at the pool who knows what they would have done with our property then.

The manager was unhelpful and impatient as we tried to get this sorted and wouldn't even provide us a taxi voucher to get across the city to the different hotel. That is why they get a 1 star for service. We had pre paid tickets to a show and there was no way we could get to the new hotel (30 minutes away) and back in time. Plus we were in our swimwear being told we couldn't stay which was pretty embarrassing. So we called customer service and after about an hour finally got the next room cancelled. We had no other option then paying for a new hotel in the area last minute which was pricey, shout out to the Wynn for their awesome customer service, they bent over backwards to get us a room, something best western didn't seem concerned at all about. We thought we would save money on our trip by using best western points so we could buy the show tickets. Big mistake.

Second, I used 40000 BW points to book the room and the rep could only offer to comp me 5000 points, which I refused because that is absurd and not fair in any way. We literally had to stop our vacation half way through to sort out this wreck of a reservation. They escalated my call and told me I would hear back in 5 business days to sort something out but I don't think they can put a price on this fiasco, I logically cannot understand why they would book us into a separate hotel for our 3rd night.

Third, don't expect to sleep past 8am as that is when the cleaners start their rounds knocking on doors. We were unfortunate to be put beside the staff room so we got to hear all of their colorful conversations clear as day. The rooms seem to echo the sounds in the hallway and voices are easily heard in the room. So don't plan on sleeping much if you stay here.

The only plus I can give this hotel is its location. Other than that it was a terrible experience and ruined a full day of my vacation taking care of...
