Gordon Food Service Store — Attraction in Siesta Key

Oh how I wish I lived near a Gordon Foods store. This isn't going to be the kind of store for every customer, but those that need bulk items etc. are going to find it very useful. In particular, if one was a caterer, or throwing an event centered around foods, this would be the place to go.

For me, as a pizza making enthusiast, this is a golden find. Because they carry three key items that are very hard to find in stores: 6-in-1 brand crushed tomatoes, Grande brand whole milk mozzarella cheese, and a wide variety of flours -- including 00 Caputo.

6-in-1 crushed tomatoes are the best choice for building an Italian red sauce. I have to order these and pay shipping, but it is right on the shelf at GFS, in a #10 can which is what I use (I make it in bulk)

Grande cheese is what all the good pizzerias use, and is not sold wholesale. I would travel 100 miles just for this.

The flours are in 50lb bags, which is how I buy it, but that isn't going to work for most home use. Though you can store it in airtight containers and use it over the course of a year.

They have spices by the quart (smaller portions too). They have a lot of prepared foods frozen, like lasagnas, pizzas, wings, etc.

Lastly they have all the supplies food business would need. Deli papers, food leftover containers, etc.

For equipment, they have pizza screens, pizza trays, dough proofing trays, and professional cookware.

Again, this is not going to be the place for most home consumers. But if you throw a party and are catering it yourself, or you want to launch a catering business, this would be the...

This is a store that Anyone can shop at!! The whole store’s workers are the friendliest of any store that My husband & I have ever shopped at (all year long)!! The prices of Meats (Rib Roasts to Pork Roasts, & Burger (72/28, 81/19, to the leanest burger) whole (boneless or bone-in Chicken Breast!! Also whole or sliced Deli Meats such as; Turkey,Ham,Roast Beef, Pepperoni, and many others, as well as Cheese Trays to Shredded Cheeses that are the best prices per pound anywhere!! Velveeta Lovers, they have a 5 lb. Box (perfect bread size for grilled cheese sandwiches). They also have many other frozen foods, Isle foods, Produce, & Markdowns &/or Case prices at unbelievable prices too, at NO Extra Charge (like Big Box Stores)!! So, it doesn’t hurt to see for yourself!! It’s our Favorite store EVER!!!! You will wonder why you’ve never been there before now, seriously!! It’s a Large Chain of Stores (as far south as Key West)!! Just go to gfs.com and put your zip code in and you can look online or just go to your nearest store. You can see what’s on sale & just see regular prices by looking in the Shop by Departments, & you’ll see a nice surprise in prices!! Just go to Order for Home (without actually shopping or with shopping (unless you have a business to order for. We have been shopping at Gordon's for over 8 years for our business. Brown's Food Factory ( Brown's Freezer Fresh) The staff has always been exceptional at this location! If they don't have what we need, they are more than happy to order it for us. They call every time an order is in, and they are always on time. We have never had a problem with a product we have purchased from them. We have also gone to several of the trade shows over the years. We have been to other Gordon's locations due to travel, and by far, this location is the best! Everyone knows us by name as we are there quite regularly. They go above and beyond for their customers.
