This entire shopping center is really great. There’s a little bit of everything including all the favorite shopping spots - DSW, TJMaxx, Target, Ross, Ulta…the list goes on and on. All your favorite fast-ish food joints - Five Guys, Chipotle, Jamba, American Cookie Co-Marble Slab…chain sit-downs such as Olive Garden, Toasted Yolk, Don Julios, Willie’s, La Madeleine’s, and so much more. There’s a Nations Bank & a Navy FCU. There’s a significant shortage of parking on the TJMaxx side so be forewarned - and I’m serious. There’s like a total of 30 spaces due to the planning (or lack thereof) on that particular side so just know - you won’t find a parking spot if the stores are open on that side - and the ones you do find will be tight enough to make you decide to walk. It’s very spread out though so it’s not one of these shopping strips where it’s feasible to just park and make your rounds. It’s not exactly a walkable strip mall due to all the zigzagging roadways that are missing stop signs and unclear signage causing strange congestion due to everyone kind of just trying to figure out who has the right of way.
All in all - it’s your above average “because it’s new and because pretty much everything exists here in one-ish stop” shopping strip mall. But it is just busy...
Read moreNear Klein Texas north of Houston Texas a collection of strip shopping centers, paved parking handicap parking. The stores are nice but the layout is confusing. Each strip center is facing a different way, like if you threw Domino's on a table and each one was at a different angle that's where they built each strip center and the restaurants are separate and across a busy street where the restaurants and the parking is. They do have some fountains but I couldn't figure out how to get to them. To get in and out is crowded and the road is backed up with a lot of traffic. Is it just me or does this place seem disjointed? I think they should have line them all up so you could find them. The way it is now you need to use a GPS just to get to any store, you can't just drive around and find you will miss a lot of stores. And you have to be careful because it's on a toll road but you can take the back roads and get to it. My first time here and I'll try not to come back unless I really need something. The stores are nice the employees are nice The parking is paved and nice and clean....
Read moreSame old strip mall stores but with easy access to the Grand Parkway, Kuykendahl, Spring Stuebner.... This is brand new as of late 2017. There's already quite a few big name retailers but I have not seen any fast food eateries and hope I don't. There are some interesting new eateries like the Toasted Yolk which is only open for breakfast and lunch (that's a new thing here).
Hopefully some Woodlands Exxon funds can help put in the desig,n acquisition, and installation of huge trees, fish/duck ponds, biking trails and walking paths that this place sorely needs. I have seen deer in the parking lots. The Grand Parkway is much noisier now that there's so much concrete. Happy...
