To who it may concern, Right from the beginning our experience was tarnished. The bus guide came to pick us up and she was a block away when she waved us to her which was ok then but she had an unfriendly attitude asked us for tickets then told us to get on the bus. Once everyone was on she aggressively told us the rules. Her tone was mean. Rule 1: we are making one stop to eat and use the bathroom there because we have a bathroom here but only for number 1 not number 2!   Rule 2: donât be late or you will be left and a taxi from key west to Maimi is $600. And when wanted to tell us something she would tell us to be quiet! Rude as heck! Then she proceeded to tell us our choices of excursions which was limited. I have been to key west many times and itâs not that big and i do understand your company may have relationships with current places. She was very pushy. We opted to walk. When we got back at 5pm which by the way was early, she announced that we should be sure to use the bathroom and make sure to be organized because we canât use bathroom on board and we will not be stopping. Then she came up to my Son and I and asked us what hotel we were at, we told her and she immediately ask us to gather our belongings and go to the bus next door without any explanation! We were caught off guard. On the other bus we were able to get a roomy seat but little air conditioning nothing worked and we left late! When i ask the new guide after gathering my thought not sounding angry he said she needed our seats to seat two people togetherâŚ. I felt so unfairly treated! We all paid the same amount and deserved to be treated with respect. On top of all that they dropped us off three block away from our hotel to walk the rest of way. I book lots of vacations with your company and this was unexceptionable.

Read moreAfter my flight to Miami I had to ride the grey hound to Key West. The bus station was clean, departure and arrival times were accurate. The chairs were very uncomfortable 100% hostile architecture. They don't allow you to sleep at all. The staff were very polite so was security but they will come wake you up. Sitting/laying on the floor was also prohibited, this shouldn't be the case for paying customers. I had a 5 hour wait after getting off the plane and I didn't sleep an inch. Sleep is of the essence for backpacking travelers. Its allowed in the airports but not the bus stations?????
The bus ride was a little scary because the driver would pull right over in the middle of nowhere and kick you right off if you didn't wear your mask correctly. A total of 4 people were kicked off abruptly. One person fell asleep and their mask slid off of their nose. Driver pulled over, woke the person up and kicked her off the bus without warning. She apologized and begged but he refused to give her any chance at all. He also locked the bathroom so we couldn't use it. When we finally arrived at the Key West station the driver parked in a odd spot because there was a car parked in the spot the bus needed. The driver exited the bus to find the owner of the car, after he came back we were all standing in a line ready to exit. He forcefully pushed us back on to the bus and told us all to sit down. We were all locked on the bus for a total of 15 minutes. We were 20' from the parking spot. The bus ride on the way home was the polar opposite. Driver was very friendly and there wasn't any issues. Let us use the...
Read moreThere is a lot I can say about this place. I stopped during the day to pick up my ticket for that night⌠I canât remember the worker behind the desks name but she began to become frustrated because language barrier, the customers in front of spanish speakers and she made a comment why canât people learn English once they moved to America. Very prejudice and it disappointed me as it came from a fellow black woman myself.
Then for your safety, PLEASE as a women bring pepper spray or anything to defend yourself. As I was leaving from picking up my ticket and waiting for my Lyft to a venue, some man decided to sit next to me and come talk to me, I told him âplease Dont talk to meâ as I felt uncomfortable and I have a significant other. He was shaking the entire bench to get my attention. I was processed to be harassed because I rejected him, called out my name and other disrespectful things said. When I returned at night, another dude tried to approach and I informed I wasnât interested in speaking again, there was a physical alteration with police called, I was harassed by an older woman for informing her I wasnât interested in having a conversation as I have with everyone else because I was just tired of being harassed and she didnât take that rejection lightly either.
Honestly I would recommend any other bus carrier than Greyhound because not only was the wifi barely working so I used my limited data waiting for a page to load, the outlets didnât work and smelled like mildew.
If you stop at this location, especially as a woman, regardless of time of day, please...
