Hello Smooth Med Spa — Attraction in Fruit Cove

Disappointed and taken advantage of.

I’ll start by saying that Hannah, one of the 2 employees I spoke with on the phone, was very kind and receptive to what I was explaining.

I had an appointment schedule for 4pm for an initial consultation. On my way out the door at 3:20pm, I was unexpectedly called into work because of a sudden outage - I work in technology for the railroad. I immediately called Hello Smooth to explain what happened and emphasized the fact that I would try to resolve the issue and head over as soon as possible. Hannah told me there would be a cancellation fee if I didn’t show (which is understandable), but there is also a grace period of 15 minutes, and to call back with any updates. Obviously, I did not know how long it would take to resolve the issue, but I hung up and performed a temporary fix so that I could still make it to the appointment.

I rushed out the door at 3:45pm and called Hello Smooth to ask if it was okay to arrive 5-10 minutes after the grace period since I live 35 minutes from the location. The employee I spoke with, Taylor, was incredibly unwilling to do anything except charge my card for the cancellation fee, even after explaining the situation. I was absolutely willing to accept a shorter than normal consultation if they had agreed to see me. There were so many other ways to handle the situation instead of insisting on cancellation and charging me $51.25 (they make you pay the $1.25 processing fee of running your card) after trying so hard to make it to the appointment. We could have had a shorter consultation They could have chosen to charge the fee, but apply it to any services I decided to pursue with them, otherwise keep the fee They could have allowed me to reschedule because of my circumstances (like any other decent business probably would have done)

I was virtually a guaranteed customer because I had been searching up and down for a med spa that offered laser hair removal by professionals who know how to treat dark skin. After 6 years of receiving laser treatments at a different med spa (because of PCOS hair growth), my trust was severed 1 month ago because they irresponsibly burned my face (pretty severely) with a new machine they had little experience using on my skin type. I was so excited to try Hello Smooth after reading other customer reviews and the information on their site, but this first impression was incredibly disheartening and I’m so sad to have to begin searching again for another place I can go...

No more Ronald McDonald eyebrows for me!

I've gotten Botox done before by different people in the industry. Some injected too much, some injected too little, but everyone I went to always made my eyebrows look rounded (lifted towards the middle and going downwards at the outer corner). I just thought this was how Botox worked.

I wanted a different experience, so I took a chance with Hello Smooth since I loved their energy on Instagram. Walking in I knew this was a place I would come back to. Beautiful, luxe experience, and you can tell the people truly love working there.

Pilar recommended Dysport, and explained why she liked it in an easy to understand way. Right away I noticed Pilar's technique was different. Where past injectors injected the middle of my forehead, she went up high into the hair line.

When I tell you SHE GAVE ME THE BEST EYEBROWS OF MY LIFE!!! They were lifted gracefully. I could also fill in my eyebrows easily. I never knew I could have eyebrows like these until after Pilar's touch

From booking that 1st consultation as a new client to all my appointments as a veteran client of 3 years, I have only ever had great experiences! As soon as you walk in, you’re welcomed by the front desk staff Taylor, Hannah, or Crystal. The check in process is smooth (pun intended ha). The place is decorated so cute! Once taken back to a treatment room, I’m either treated by Racquel , Pilar, or Franki depending on my treatment for that day. I have gotten laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, hydrafacials, filler, Dysport, skin peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, and laser resurfacing. Hello Smooth does it all! Racquel is my main provider for laser hair removal and tattoo removal. I’ve built such a great relationship with her over the years. She’s all around good vibes. Franki holds 2 roles; esthetician and therapist. Of course she’ll transform your skin and tailor your treatments to your skins needs, but she’s also such a great listener! Pilar has magical hands & precision! My lips, forehead, and eyes THANK YOU. She definitely listens to my vision and wants for injectables and executes 10/10 every time. My face looks so natural and not overdone. Once any treatment is done, if I have any questions about after care, anyone on the team is happy to answer as they are all knowledgeable. The follow up phone call they provide to make sure you’re healing well is above and beyond. Bottom line is, going to Hello Smooth was one of the best things I could have done. Thank you...
