Today, 5 minutes before 4 p.m. my mom and I went to the fitting room to try on dresses. The fitting room attendant, who is a female with blonde hair and glasses, named either Julia or Liliya, was extremely rude. She wouldn't let us go in together, said we could only have 8 items between the two of us if we go in one fitting room, but with other workers we are allowed into one with 6 items each. She forced us to go in opposites sides of the fitting rooms while still giving us lots of attitude and extremely rude body language and tone. When my mom looked at the bigger open fitting room, the worker attacked us verbally again without us saying anything. We had to run back and forth between fitting rooms to help each other and she upset us so much because she wouldn't stop arguing and being rude that we didn't even try on more than half of what we brought in. We've never been treated this rudely before and have never been harassed this bad by anyone in this store before. We shop here many times and sometimes we aren't allowed to go in together with more than 8 items total, the fitting room attendant is still friendly and apologizes for the inconvenience instead of shaming us and harassing us repeatedly. On the other hand, Sydney, who deserves 5 stars, had the shift right after the rude female worker and she was very friendly and did not harass us, and she apologized for her...
Read moreI purchased a pair of men's Dockers dress shoes in mid-August. They were $69.99 after a coupon, and I have bought and worn Dockers shoes previously. I am a funeral director, so my shoes go on when I get to work and come off at the end of my work day. I also keep them maintained because that is the expectation.
About a week ago, I noticed that both sides of each shoe were coming loose from the sole. My first chance to take them in to see what the store would be willing to do about it was yesterday. My preference, which I requested, was for a store credit to be issued so that I could buy a different pair. I was courteously but firmly told that, without the original box and receipt (which I did not have), and without the shoes being in re-sellable condition, no refund or store credit could be issued. I pointed out that they were clearly defective, but the manager just reiterated the return policy and would not concede this. I thanked her and stated that I would not be buying shoes there again.
If all of the Dockers shoes of this model were wearable as long as these, I would have to purchase five pair per year. That doesn't make a lot of...
Read moreI changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars because of the problems I'm going to tell you about.
I took a friend to JC Penney store to look for a suit for a job interview. She found a nice suit jacket with slacks to match. The outfit is very professional looking & will make a great impression. It was black & was on sale for less than $65.00 for both pieces.
There are only TWO problems. The girl did not know how to hang the suit in the garment bag & DIDN'T check the pants for a security beeper which is right in front of the pant leg & now she can't wear the suit for the job interview. The girl did not check for it plus she did know how to keep the suit from wrinkling because she put the front of the suit facing the pants & it was really wrinkled. The jacket should be in the front facing out & the pants behind to keep lapels still looking nice & not wrinkled on the jacket.
All employees should be trained on how to check for security tags & how to hang clothes in a garment bag. Now I have to go back to the store to have the security beeper moved. An extra trip back to the store. Be sure they check your merchandise before you...
