Had brought my family here with intentions to eat dinner, try drinks and overall have a good time but unfortunately that did NOT happen that evening.. It was actually the first time I've ever felt so disrespected and witnessed such awful and unprofessional service at a restaurant. When entering, I spoke to one of the hostess with dyed blonde hair that seemed very unfriendly to let her know about our group -we were a party of 6 so pretty big group and hard to miss while seeing us to the table. After getting situated, we checked the menu that was already on the table then realized that we never received more menu's for the rest of the group. After 10 minutes we noticed that no waiter/waitress came to our table to give water or ask for starters. They were mainly all huddled together at the front talking and laughing and even mingling at other tables all the while ignoring ours. It was a Friday evening so there were other groups here and there but was not busy or crowded especially how easy going the staff seemed as they walked among the room without rush or in a hurry. We were all in disbelief that it was really taking this long and even our neighbor, table-groups were noticing and looking confused how no one came to provide us service. We waited a little longer just to see if someone would finally notice but guess we all just became invisible to staff the moment we sat down. After a whole 25 almost half an hour of being there since the beginning, we stood up and left. Of course as soon as we stood up, staff started to walk away from their group obviously to avoid us as we had to pass that front counter where they all were to exit the building. Even the manager on duty walked away towards the back kitchen to avoid our group. ?! How rude and highly unprofessional it is to let a group leave this way especially without confronting us or asking why and also leaving the front counter/hostess table unattended.. Overall, this horrible experience was a waste of our time and we will never choose to come here again. But to add on a positive note, The Margarita Factory which is basically down the street is where we ate our delicious dinner and tried their many options of top shelf tequila and mezcal cocktails that evening -HIGHLY recommend if you and your party want to be acknowledged with professional and friendly service from start to finish with yummy food...

This restaurant may be slightly over rated... it looks to have expensive taste. Very beautiful indoor seating areas and loud music (can't really hear the person 2 feet away from you). But when it comes to the food.. it's all about cost savings which decreases quality. You could get the same quality from a chipotle and save money (chipotle is right above the restaurant). The drinks served here are very mild compared to other restaurants with margaritas. Cheaply made drinks. You could get the same environment at the same price with better quality food, with strong and creative margaritas over at the margarita factory. (Located just a mile further down the road and with more available parking)

Chips and salsa chips are stored in what look like large trash bins and are tossed under a warmer when they run short. The salsa is very creamy and more like a sauce then salsa. Taste was decent. Texture didn't seem right

Taco plate served on a taco standard wood board with specific indents for specific items like the sauce ramekin or the metal that holds the soft taco. tacos are served with 1 soft shell rather than 2 to save on cost. All 3 tacos will soak through and fall apart leaving a mess and needing to use the mini skillet and mix your taco toppings in.. presentation becomes very unsatisfying at this point. The sauce for the tacos have very mild flavor. Tastes like water.

Margaritas served in a small pint glass unless you purchase the (for two) option. Margarita is basically a cocktail with basic juice, half shot of tequila, and a sprits of lime. The flavors they speak of in the menu come from the salt mixture they add to the rim.

A meal that is worth $30 for 2 people cost a total of $70.

My girlfriend and I agree.. we will not be returning. There are much better options out there.

Watch out for restaurants like these as they are cheap in quality foods to make a large profit on you and giving you a decent environment.. but let's be honest we go for the food and not the...

I visited around 5pm with friends, and my experience with our server, Amy C, was very disappointing. If I could give service 0 star I will.

I have a question about the menu so I asked our server if the pork fajitas were pulled pork and waS told no, So I ordered it. 5 mins later i wasn't sure about whatI order so i went to another server she was kind explained it actually was pulled pork. Since I don't like it, I immediately tried to change to chicken. I stood infront of the kitchen, but try to find my server and the staff try to help me find but we could not find her. Amy was in the restroom and the other server I talked to can't even to help to change the order. I did not blame of went to restroom but my point is why other server not help to change the order so the time was not add up more than 5 mins when the order just placed in ?

When she returned, instead of fixing the order she said it was "too late" and added, "next time, let me know earlier," even though she was unavailable. She later said, "I'm being nice to you, I have many tables," is that the way to reply customer ? she was lying she went to the restroom and other server not help to change the order of her table which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was very upset then She finally switched the order for me from pork to chicken but her lack of menu knowledge and poor attitude left me uncomfortable.

The food itself was excellent, but service like this ruins the entire dining experience. Good customer service should mean teamwork, respect, and accurate information.

I hope manager and the owner addresses this issue (Amy C) so that future guests are treated with the professionalism and courtesy they deserve. I will not return back to this place they are way many good Mexican restaurants and...

Originally, I was going to give a 4 star review, because the food and service were quite impressive but the atmosphere was not quite there (music a little too loud, dark inside with a lot of dark-colored moody decor). However, the gnats and flies that kept swarming our food were extremely bothersome and disgusting, we were literally swatting them away every minute. Yes, the doors to outdoor seating were open, but if the bugs are at my table, who can guarantee that they aren't in the kitchen too? There was an abundance of old food on the booth seats (that I wiped away with my own hands) and under the tables, plus the floor was sticky in spots. This attracts the bugs and there was no deterrent for them, such as a blast of air by the doors to shoo them away. By the end of the meal we were so annoyed by the bugs that we were literally rushing to leave. I first thought the food prices were high but then I saw the portions, huge. Our appetizer of nachos would have easily filled us up if we had been able to finish it before our entrees came 5-ish minutes later, which in my opinion is too fast. I would have liked to enjoy the appetizer first! We might come back in wintertime when the doors to outdoor seating are closed, but until then I won't be revisiting. Last note: when an employee wearing a nice button up and tie (manager? Idk) came to take our plates and asked how everything was, we immediately explained the bug issue. He excused it by saying the doors are open, "that's why." I just said "it's gross to have bugs flying sround my food while I try to enjoy my meal.". I really felt like he ignored me, as he didn't respond to me and only responded to my husband who repeated my words. Google won't let me post the video of 4 gnats flying around my plate.

My wife and I were impressed with every aspect of our visit to Mezcaluna, from seating, to service, to the meal itself. Our server, Miguel, who my wife recognized as someone she had worked with as a server many years ago, was attentive, friendly and personable, even before their mutual familiarity was recognized. Shrimp tacos for her, ribeye tacos for me, and a margarita each makes for an excellent lunch, but the size of these puppies was such that neither of us could finish our meals, meaning we also had them for dinner. #humblebrag Our margaritas were similarly fantastic, although my wife and I ended up switching my spicy marg for her hibiscus mezcal marg, as she had overestimated her taste for mezcal, whereas I enjoy it FAR more than tequila, but this preference is due to personal taste, and not a slight against the quality of the mezcal, or the drink itself. One more object of (positive) note is the complimentary cantina salsa is pretty darn awesome, and likely solely responsible for neither of us being able to finish our entrées. The only complaint I would levy against Mezcaluna would be that, in keeping with its image as an "upscale" Mexican eatery, the prices of just about everything was also "upscaled", so keep that in mind when looking for budget dining options around Clackamas Town Center. Finding notable Mexican restaurants, meaning those that I would actively seek out again in the future over others, is pretty rare, but Mezcaluna is definitely poised near the top of my very limited list, and we wouldn't hesitate to return again for another crack at the menu, and branching out into other favorites beyond the safety of tacos as a comfort food.
