Review for Kahle Park Kahle Park is a quaint little spot that serves its purpose as a community gathering place, but it's important to have the right expectations when visiting. The park features a soccer and softball field, making it a nice venue for local sports, but if you're looking for a solid tubing or sledding experience, you might want to look elsewhere. As a small park, Kahle doesn't offer the hills or terrain you’d typically seek for a fun day of sledding or tubing. I can’t stress enough that if you’re hoping to have a thrilling downhill experience, you will likely be disappointed here. The area is more suited for a leisurely outing rather than an adrenaline-packed adventure. On the plus side, the park does have a small play area for children, which is a great spot for little ones to enjoy some snow play under parental supervision. The restrooms are also a convenient feature, and the ample parking makes it easy to access the park without any hassle. Kahle Park is ideal for a quick trip to walk your dog or let your kids enjoy a bit of snow play, but if you're specifically looking for tubing or sledding, I recommend seeking out a park with more suitable hills. Overall, it's a pleasant community park for casual outings, just not the best choice for winter sports enthusiasts.

Solid recreation center. Front desk ladies were friendly contrary to other reviews. Gym equipment is a little worn but honestly not bad. They have basketball courts, a small bouldering wall, punching bags (body and speed), a kids area with foosball, weights and cardio equipment.

I don't normally write reviews but felt this place worthy.

Great for family and inexpensive workout! Staff friendly enough. Found this place through a Google search and glad I did. Worked out 4 days and never felt too crowded. Facility seemed well maintained and clean. What I liked the most - NO gym rats or meat heads if you know what I mean! Sorry parents, NO childcare provided (the only fault I could find).

For the kids: small arcade, foosball, air hockey, crawl tunnels (like McDonalds Playland), bounce house, basketball courts (child/kids hoops available upon request), two outdoor play structures, and large grass field.

For Adults: Basketball courts, Small indoor track, cardio equipment, strength training equipment, and locker room with showers if needed. Disclaimer: Do not expect a full-scale workout facility. Approx 15 pieces of cardio equipment and basic strength gear (bench press, squat racks, universal/fly/row station, large dumbbell rack, and numerous leg/core/upper body machines, . Equipment is older but functional.

While most our time is spent outdoors, it is nice to have a place for kids to play and get a...

The inside component is a JOKE. Could be awesome, but isn’t. There’s a track that goes around the top, and if any kids are present, you have to physically sit there on the ground floor and watch them play to supervise them. We have a 5th grader! The basketball court is visible from the track, and you could easily supervise your children while walking it. Basically, adults and children cannot both coexist here and both get what they want. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s incredible how risk-averse and litigious the world has become. Helicopter parenting is now a legal mandate. All of this could be solved by a flexible staff, but neither of them seemed willing to live outside of their narrow...
