Kay Nail Spa — Attraction in Wesley Chapel

Went in to get our nails done. I showed the owner the nail inspo my daughter was looking to get and assigned the male nail tech and i was assigned the lady at the back. I showed the male tech the inspo photo again. He comes to the back where am sitting to show me he had done my daughters nails by painting them all one color (orange) i said to him thats not what she wants and he proceeds to tell me that her nails are too short and french tip and flowers wont fit and I told him but thats not what she wants. The lady owner comes over and asks to see the photo again and she asks if this (inspo photo) is what she wants and I confirmed she wants the nails like the photo. She tells The guy that he is going to remove them and redo them. I finished my nails and go over to my daughter who is by the front and see that he in fact didn’t remove them , he just did a white line and the lady owner had Done or tried to do a blue flower as “design”. The lady owner has the audacity to charge $50 For the work and then gave me a $5 “discount “ since my daughter was a child. I paid and left.

My daughter then tells me that the male nail tech seemed annoyed after we me and the lady owner that she didn’t want his design and to redo the work. He kept huffing and puffing while working on her nails. He chose not to do it and do it his way. The blue flower they painted smeared off all because they didn’t put a top Coat on it and cured it. My experience here was wonderful, thanks to Mercedes!!! Over the last decade of having acrylics, I have been to many nail techs, and now I have finally found someone truly knowledgeable, reliable, careful, and highly skilled. Mercedes pays close attention to detail, there are zero flaws in her work. Apart from making my nails look beautiful, she was able to save them with her great knowledge and skill, after some bad damage from other people. It is rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the health of the nails and taking care of the client, but I am so fortunate that I did. Terrible customer service. I ended up leaving just as they were about to start my pedicure. I took my feet out of the cold water, as I had been waiting and nobody spoke to me about who would be doing my services despite having folks available. I asked who would be doing my nails, the lady pointed at the guy and asked him. He wasn’t working on anyone else, just walking around and chatting. I asked again and continued to wait. It wasn’t worth it, I left. You can have lower prices but if your customer service is trash then I take my $ elsewhere.
