Upon entering this salon I was greeted by one of their employees and told to sit and wait. After waiting for about 20 mins, I was then told to sit at one of the nail tech tables. I sat there waiting for the nail tech for 30mins. Finally, he shows up and tells to choose my nail colors, when I returned he was gone and I was left waiting another 10 mins. He again reappears talking on the phone. I show him how I would like my nails done and he sends me another girl, because he doesn't do designs. I walk over to the girl and she gives me a price. I again return back to the nail tech and he's gone again. I waited once more for another 10 mins. Finalllllllly, he returns and we get started and the entire time he's on the phone chatting up like I'm not even there. He messes up my thumb and I point it out to him and he holds up his hands like I'm interrupting an important meeting. So, I pull my hands back and stare at him and he finally gets off the phone and says quite rudely, "I'm just getting started." He continues to talk on the phone while he's doing my nails. Finally, he's done and he starts painting my nails white and I tell him that is not the color I chose and he proceeds to tell me that this color will look better than what I chose. My face: 0_o. I kindly remind him that I am the paying customer and the color I chose is the color I want my nails painted. After he's done, the designer chick shows up after I'd already been waiting for a good 15 mins. She did a pretty good job. After she's done the nail tech returns and I ask him if he could just clean the surrounding edges of my nails. He said "no, I already did that. I'm not doing it again." I said "oh ok." I got up and walked out. I will never ever go...
Read moreThey lie just to get money that's what pissed me off. Every place I go, I dont mind paying extra what I ask for. For them to go on a rant to a customer is just a disgrace. My nails are bad ever since I've been going there I been getting acrylics, so I decided to do something different for my nails to get better. The employee (CHRISTINE) told me that the "gel powder" will help my nails get better and last longer. I agreed with it and when I was done I was gladly surprise how nice it looked and told my boyfriend to tip her extra. When I showed my sister ( a cosmetologist, nail technician specialist ) she was confused onto where the gel nails were. It turned out there is no such thing as gel powder and I got very upset. So I went on over to la mer and explain to them this isn't what I thought it was can I please get what I payed for? Christine and her superior I believe, started to yell and telling me God knows what I'm doing, said i just don't wanna pay extra.. I was so shocked cause I go over there often and didn't understand why they act like freaking Kids tryna prove a point. I left and didn't get anything done. Horrible place to me. They don't care about their customers satisfaction or nail health. Straight business. Be careful getting your nails done over there and make sure you ask about their products and they reuse their items. Everything should be wrapped and clean. Look up and find out about their products before getting your nails done cause my nails aren't how they used to. I don't regret just...
Read moreDon't even dare go here. Last time I will be stepping foot into this establishment. I requested a pedicure. After she was finished, my feet were damp, so all the little imperfections weren't clear. But when my feet were dry, the cuticles weren't even properly taken care of.
So I go to get my nails done. I ask for a certain design and he said he couldn't do it. I myself have done my nails (pretty good) myself and have accomplished that design before without great tools that these "professionals" have. I just wanted to get this design on acrylic nails. He couldn't even get the right shape. So I said ok, can you just put simple gel nail polish over the acrylic. I chose my color and he put on a completely different color, but I didn't say anything because the color was also cute. So when he was finished he put on oil. Way too much oil that was dripping down my hands, so I asked one of the nail techs for the napkin behind her. While I was walking away, she said "let me see your nails baby," and she lifted my hand to look at them. She then dragged me over, still holding my hand, to ask her client if they might want the color. She let go, and I drove home. When I got home, my nails were getting sticky, because everything was getting stuck in the oil, like dust. I had to wash my hand THREE times to get it clean. I'm still having to reshape the nails with a file right now. Don't waste your money. If only I could give 0 stars. Go to oxygenix...
