Leading Edge Helicopters — Attraction in Kissimmee

Avoid this business at all cost. I called at 3pm on April 30 to ask the price for 1 person for a short ride. They said 20 dollars; but since I’m single, I would need to pay for both seats, $40. I said fine; and drove over there. At the business, I was told I would need to pay $50 because of a fuel surcharge! When I asked why I wasn’t told that over the phone or why it’s not on their website, they shrugged their shoulders and didn’t have an answer. I reluctantly paid anyway since I had driven all the way there. The pilot asked me to await a safety briefing while he started the helicopter. Instead of a safety briefing, a guy came out and told me he wanted to take pictures of me with his camera. No safety briefing whatsoever. I asked him if he would take a photo of me beside the plane with my camera. He said no; and that they wanted to sell me a photo package. So I got in the helicopter and we took off. We were in the air for about 45 seconds, and I was about to take my camera out to take a few photos as it mentions online. Before I could do that, we landed again after 1.5 minutes in the air. My family and I have been wanting to take a tour ride on a helicopter. I'm so glad we chose to go with Leading Edge!!!!! It's worth every cent and so much more! The young lady at the front window is so friendly and funny she was so helpful with out party of 6 !!! Thank you for helping me out! The young man that takes the pictures and helps you in and out the helicopter is amazing . The pics he takes are high quality and you get so many It's worth the extra cost! We did the Old Town option it was about 4 minutes long and seemed longer to be honest but it's worth the small amount they charge. The Pilot is so professional , amazing and funny. He gave us the low down on everything. And made my 7yr comfortable Thank you!!!!. The banking to the left and right were FUN!!!! You just don't go straight you get a full fun kinda dipping experience!!!! The next time we come back to Kissimmee we'll definitely take another tour and do the Disney option. I read some of the reviews before posting and anyone who doesn't think this company isn't professional, or is too expensive is probably going on their first helicopter ride ever. Helicopters are expensive to run, and the staff is very safety oriented. The staff is wonderful and hands down the best ride I have ever experienced. We paid for the down town Disney ride, its $50.00 per person and it was about 5-6 minutes. Outstanding. Epcot is in the distance and so is Hollywood Disney. It was amazing and I highly recommend it. Wish we would have gotten the longer All Disney tour to actually fly past Epcot and over Hollywood. The staff said it was about 10-12 minutes and I wish I would have listened. 5 to 6 minutes just isn't long enough. It's beautiful up there.
