A Thai Monastery in the middle of Kissimmee
Wat Florida Dhammaram is a Buddhist Monastery situated in about seven acreas of peaceful grounds in Kissimmee, Fla.
Yesterday when we left the house to go to Disney Springs we took a little detour to make a pit stop first.
As we quickly passed by what it seemed to be a glistening something from the corner of our eye, we suddenly turned to each other and in synchronicity, Marcia and I said, “What was that?”
You didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to realize what we had passed was something special. What we didn’t know was, how special it really was.
Yes indeed, back we went.
As we walked through the semi majestic grounds with bigger than life statues adorning temples of a much smaller scale, you can’t help but to notice how clean the exterior of the buildings are.
So immaculately clean are the front facade and entrances, you can’t stop yourself from opening each door of the small buildings which house some magnificent sacred spaces.
For me, to paint visual images of the detailed spaces that encompass the interior of the Temples, would not, could not, capture it’s humbled magnificence. So, with the effort of presenting a very sober rendition of what Marcia and I experienced, I will let the pictures speak for...

May we all be blessed always, and hopefully saturday Meditation classes and Dharma Talks can go back to regular schedule soon 🙏 😊 ❤️ it provides great support systems to those who need it and seek for it.

Read moreThis temple is incredibly beautiful, featuring a replica of the Buddhist stupa from India. It also has a stunning ordination hall and magnificent architecture. The Phra Buddha Chinnarat statue is breathtaking, and the temple is home to statues of Tao Wessuwan and the Naga.
