What to Eat in Orlando, USA 🇺🇸 (Part 1)

What to Eat in Orlando, USA 🇺🇸 (Part 1)

Day of visit: Sunday 10/11/20 party of 7. The good 1st. The food is cooked to perfection, with tender veggies on Fajitas, and meat. If you love food with taste, this the place to be. Additionally, portions more than what you can eat. The prices are lower than most Mexican restaurants. Only costs a few dollars more than fast food. Don't know how they do it! The critically bad: 1. Clearly no concern for the COVID-19; overcrowded with poor ventilation. 2. Five in my party ordered Sprite, and all they got was carbonated water. I brought it up to our waitress and she said there was nothing she could do! Really? I guess she is unaware that the syrup comes in a bag, and the empty bag needs replacing. 3. I asked for water, and when I got it and tasted it, I thought that maybe by mistake, the waitress poured bleach in the glass instead of water. The little bit I had, gave me a stomach ache. 4. My daughter and I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and both tasted more than the chicken we wanted to taste. As the tortilla is grilled in the same place they cook all meats, the tortilla tasted like pork and beef. Those, we don't eat. Bad cross-contamination! That is what you are eating. If this I can tell about how poor they handle the food by feeding us this nasty combination, can you imagine the cross-contamination going behind? Maybe cutting meats and veggies in the same place too, and without cleaning the boards and knives. No wonder people get sick with deadly diseases. 5. My wife and son ordered Fajitas; one chicken one combo with corn tortillas. Three times I had to flag our waitress in order to get the tortillas. I spoke to her in English first, and my wife suggested to do it in Spanish because we were not getting anywhere. I did it in Spanish and got the same; as if the waitress was in another world. Who is expediting the food? Maybe someone who doesn't know how to put an order together, or maybe in another world like our waitress. 6. The beans are too sweet, and the rice too wet. Chips and salsa are the only good staff they have. 7. Three cuisines only have given me the taste of what I ordered. One, Japanese. Two, Vietnamese. Three, Filipino. American, Italian, French, and Mexican have failed to deliver yet, it doesn't matter in what part of the US I eat. Nothing beats home cooking for sure!

OMG Was there food was good ; service was terrible ; we were celebrating my sister birthday / didnt acknowledge even thought we told the waitress that at the end of the meal we want a dessert. By the way, dessert given to go and we sing Happy birthday at the parking lot ... ??? First we wanted some drinks - notice the drinks menu only has the drinks name and pics - not components and at all $$$$ prices were missing??? Not complaint of the drinks - A+ Guava Margarita yummy - needed a copple more after the dinner plates arrived. Ended up that my sister and niece order a plate both wanted their plates to be as the picture was showing. Dinner arrived - were missing some ingredients - it seemed that they run out of them - no explanation at all. Waitress went to the manager - manager came to the table asked if any was okay in the table - well she asked - both of my family told her and explained her the situation; manager raised her tone of voice??? for real ? Yes / she raised her voice and left the table - and never seen again during the time we spend there. Instead the correct the situation - she worsted more the situation. Missing green onions and given extra tortillas? It seemed for my family the green onions is something that they like. With this happening ruined our appetited. Billing was also; confusing. We have separate bills and we told waitress since the beginning I guess the lack of listening ended up ruining our nice plan birthday dinner.

I use to come here every weekend with my family, but lately they’ve been so rude for absolutely no reason. Servers give unnecessary attitude even the managers do. Some are still nice but the rest make people feel uncomfortable. Today I ordered take out over the phone and walked just to go pick it up. The lady misunderstood me multiple times when I placed my order but I figured it was fine because I’d just go into the restaurant and have it fixed it was something very small so I didn’t think it would be a big deal. When I arrived there I asked the host if he could please take it off my order the guy immediately said “absolutely not” I thought he was joking with me because he continued to say “absolutely not” very loud but he wasn’t. I asked him again and he said “no it was already made” by the way all I wanted him to take out was sides of cheese that I wasn’t going to eat so why would I pay for it? The girl that took my order came over with an immediate attitude as if I did something wrong she goes “I took your order and you asked for this” I responded “I asked for the cheese from my nachos to be on the side” because that’s what I had asked for but she put 2 sides of cheese and I was being charged for that. they had me standing there looking foolish for about 10 min all because I asked them if they can please take the cheese off my order which I don’t think should have been an issue in the first place especially because it’s just a side sauce, not even a whole meal. Since they were giving me problems I said “okay so I don’t want the order anymore” and the guy goes “SO WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR THIS ORDER?????” I said “the only thing I asked was if you can please take the side of cheese out because I don’t want it” then he acts as if I hadn’t said that before basically saying “that’s all you had to say” He then removed it with absolutely no problems. I don’t understand why he couldn’t do that from the beginning. Why did he have to make the situation escalate and then act as if I’m the problem? Why did they have to treat me like that over a side of cheese? Its not like my order was small either. I ordered 2 plates. They have already done things to me in the past and I chose to just sweep it under the rug and give them chances but unfortunately this was their 3rd strike I’m not going back.. especially because today was extremely hot and I walked all the way there just to be treated that way. If you are reading this and thinking “over a side of cheese that’s so petty” yes you are absolutely right. It was very petty and at first I was going to just pay for it and go but the amount of attitude I received I was not about to pay any more then I should. I paid for my food and left. The employees there should really check themselves because there is literally a Mexican restaurant up the street and if they continue with their pettiness I’m sure people won’t think twice to start going elsewhere. I’ve seriously been coming here for years with my family on the weekends but enough is enough... because of everything going on I’ve been trying to support mom & pop shops as much as I could but to be treated like that over a side of cheese? I think I’d rather take my business elsewhere or cook at home and save myself from...

Is this really the best Mexican food Kissimmee has to offer? If so we have a lot of work to do. I came in on a Saturday night and the place was busy, with this in mind I was hoping that there was a reason why everyone was here and well I still haven't found this reason.

First off the service here was very mediocre, waited about 10-15 minutes just to be greeted, put drink and food orders in... another 10-15 minutes for napkins and utensils to be dropped off and then another 5-10 minutes for drinks to slowly be brought over and eventually food,, everything took way longer than it should for a Mexican restaurant. Not to mention the lack of accuracy or consistency, I ask for corn tortillas, I instead get flour tortillas. Moving onto the topic of food..

If you love greasy food that lacks seasoning and seems to have either been sitting out for a while or was reheated and is lukewarm, this is your place to go. First off the chips and salsa, the salsa was ok, but the chips were unseasoned and required a healthy serving of salt. Next we had queso, it was fine and was honestly the highlight of the dininig experience. Next I tried the birria quesadillas, the consomé was bland and lacked the rich flavor that other consomé I've had usually has. It literally tasted like some premade beef stock with some fat and meat chunks thrown into it. The beef didn't have much flavor and the cheese didn't really have much flavor, I couldn't tell what kind of cheese it was but it definitely didn't taste like oaxaca cheese. On top of all this, the consomé was served at room temperature, while the tacos did seem to have some heat which was honestly nice.

We also tried the carne asada and this was okay, the steak was very chewy and had a slight off flavor to it and was served at near room temperature. The rice and refried beans (which looked like they just came out of a can) were sloppily thrown on the plate along with a gigantic glob of sour cream and a dark green guacamole. Nothing memorable or really worth getting excited about.

Overall, a very mediocre experience, I really liked the decorations and vibe of the restaurant but unfortunately that does not make up for what was unfortunately a poor experience that I would expect more from a chain restaurant or a local theme park restaurant. The prices were okay for the portions, I guess, but in all honesty I'd pay extra for a higher caliber of food...
