During my recent visit to Kissimmee, I had the pleasure of dining at The Jamaican Dumplings Restaurant, and let me tell you: it was an experience to remember! As a visitor from Canada, I was eager to try an authentic Jamaican breakfast, and I was not disappointed. I opted for the classic dish of Ackee & Salt Fish, accompanied by perfectly cooked dumplings and sweet fried banana. The combination of the fluffy, buttery dumplings with the savory flavor of the ackee and salt fish was heavenly. The dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were bold yet balanced, making each bite a delight. I also want to mention the warm and friendly service I received from Gigi. She was welcoming from the moment I walked in and made some excellent recommendations from the menu. Her passion for the food and culture truly enhanced the experience. Overall, The Jamaican Dumplings Restaurant offered a delightful taste of Jamaican cuisine that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. My boyfriend and I recently had dinner at this spot! First, this is no ordinary take our spot. When you step into the restaurant, it’s impeccably clean; the customer service is warm, friendly and welcoming. We ordered the oxtail with rice and beans side of with Mac and red snapper brown stew. Our orders were ready less than15 minutes. Both the hostess and chef came back to our table to greet us and ensure everything was suitable to our liking. And taking one bite of our meals, we knew we not only chose the BEST Jamaican cuisine, we would also easily become repeated customers. The flavors were bursting with authentic Caribbean spices and we literally wanted to dance in our seats. The brown stew snapper was heavenly and the oxtail was tender, flavorful and delicious. There was literally no morsel left. Side note, my boyfriend fell so in love with the meal, his 2 beef patties “to go” quickly became part of the main meal. We left filling exceedingly satisfied, fulfilled and desiring to return again soon and share with all. This spot is worth returning to again and again. I had the pleasure of visiting The Jamaican Dumpling restaurant for the first time today. The owner, who also runs a landscaping business and takes care of my lawn, invited me to check out his newly opened spot.

I ordered a side of oxtails, roti skin, steamed cabbage, two fried festivals, and two fried dumplings. Let me just say—All very tasteful. I have never tasted oxtails as rich and flavorful as theirs! They were absolutely succulent and cooked to perfection. (Needs to be bigger though). Coming from the Caribbean, I’ve tried oxtail dishes from various cultures, but The Jamaican Dumpling Restaurant has, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. And the roti skin? Absolutely delicious!
