New Golden Sparkling Supermarket — Attraction in Orlando

I have been a loyal patron of New Golden Sparkling Supermarket for more than 3 years on November 23, 2024 all of that changed due to a horrific display of blatant racism by a cashier. My 19 year old daughter offered to assist me by going to the store and purchasing water and other supplies for the upcoming holidays because I was exhausted from going to several stores already. I sent my daughter money for the purchase through Cash App. She went in the shop as usually purchased 5 cases of water and other items. My daughter cashed out on register 2, the cashier refused to provide her with a receipt. So she takes the items she purchased exited the store called a Lyft and stated loading the water. The cashier; which she just got of the line with tells the security guard that my daughter stole everything!!!! They called the Police and placed my daughter in hand cuffs like a common criminal!!! Luckily my daughter remembered she made the purchased the items through Cash app; that was the proof she needed. She was able to show the Police that she had purchased everything and was let go. Imagine you are 19 years old and have never done anything illegal in your whole life and the Police come to arrest you on the word of a cashier that totally lied; in order to humiliate you. Me and my Family will never be able to shop at that establishment again due to the emotion damage this ordeal has caused my child and family. If I could provide this location a zero I would due to this unprofessional cashier. Employees are the face of any establishment and I strongly feel that this employee should be fired. In fact arrested for placing a false Police report. The manager or owner should contact myself and daughter and apologize for the trauma this has caused. I have been coming here since they opened. It has always been a pleasure shopping here. However, not so much today, 4/17/2020 at 6:10 PM at cashier lane 1. The cashier, she was wearing a coverall with a mask on, and it was very hard to hear her. She told me my balance and asked if I was paying with debit or credit. I asked her if I could pay cash since I wasn’t given the option. She said something which I couldn’t hear. So the gentleman who was picking my stuff literally yelled at me saying credit, debit, or cash. And then he muttered in Chinese, “她以为她算什么东西” meaning who does she think she is. And the cashier laughed. I was in disbelief and stunned by their attitude. I asked in a nice way but this is the attitude I got back? I understand that it’s past their closing time but if you’re so unhappy with your job, why work here? there was only two lanes opened and I waited in line for 10 minutes. It’s not my fault that it was past your closing time. I was going to saying something back but I didn’t. I can’t speak Chinese but I understand. I won’t be back here anymore. I live closer to iFresh but I chose to go out of my way to come to you because of the overall vibe and shopping atmosphere. But you guys...

The plaza have quite a bit of Asian restaurants around. When you walk in the store, it you will be overwhelmed with many items right at your face. As a matter of fact it was so crowded with items so it was hard for two carts to be push through at the same time. Beware of the little slope that goes down to the veggies and fresh meat area. It maybe slippery at times. Their veggies section were fresh with the exception of shallots , went there multiple times and they still look bad, they have these giant hami melon that you don’t see anywhere else. Prices are average for the veggies , meat and seafood. Their meats are really fresh. I bought some and store them in my fridge couple day and they still come out as fresh as when I bought them. The cashiers up front were not the nicest people and the checkout line was pretty long and crowded. It was hard to find what you need there because although there’s lots of items there there weren’t much different varieties there. Only have most common ingredients there, but when you dive deep in the the culinary of the specific dish you couldn’t find what you need here. Beware the Credit card minimum purchase is $10 , they almost didn’t let...
