I sent medical paperwork over via email. When I arrived, there was a long line. A man in the print center helped me, but he left the medical paperwork sitting on the counter and he walked away without providing any further instructions. I saw a young girl walk by so I asked her if I was supposed to take that paperwork to the front register or just wait for further instruction because the gentleman that was helping us had walked away. Her name tag said Haley. She replied in an extremely loud, condescending and defensive manner “He did not walk away. He was absolutely giving me all of the information to hand you off to me for me to ring you up.” I replied “ OK well, none of that was communicated to me, so it was very confusing for me what we were supposed to do next.” she replied “ I was about to communicate that to you, but you were too busy talking to that other stop and get your attention because you were so busy chatting.” I replied “ I was only chatting to pass time, waiting for instruction from you all.” she replied, that I was acting crazy and started escalating her tone. She said she feels bad for my child seeing the way I was acting. so they left my medical paperwork face up in front of everyone violating my hippa rights, started getting condescending and called me crazy. when she started escalating and being rude, she was over to the side so no one else could hear her. She was careful that the manager would not hear how she was talking to me. it was an upsetting interaction and so I tried to call the manager once I got to my car. He replied that he was next to Haley the whole time and didn’t hear her say anything wrong. this was the most unprofessional interaction I’ve ever seen and gaslighting the customer and pretending that you didn’t see your employee acting aggressive is unconscionable. I would never recommend anyone to go to the store. I put a call in today to the district manager, and I hope they can do an overhaul to make sure that no one else walks into this horrible scenario. I felt like these people were having a rough day and I walked in and they took it out on me...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer here for 6 years, but my recent experience in the print department was unacceptable. The clerk, Jason, refused to assist me with my copies and insisted I use the self-serve machine, even though I clearly requested staff help. He did the same to an elderly woman, telling her to handle complicated steps on her own until she finally walked away in frustration.
When I pointed this out, Jason became hostile—raising his voice, intimidating me, and saying this is “how it’s supposed to be” and that’s why prior staff were fired. Meanwhile, three other employees were sitting idly in the middle of the store doing nothing. This is not customer service—it’s harassment and disrespect.
Most of the staff here have always been kind and helpful, but Jason turned both myself and an elderly customer away simply because he was “in the middle of a print job.” Customer service should never be about intimidation or driving customers out.
Sadly, after years of coming here, I will now be taking my...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst run Office Depot I’ve ever been in. This one star review is specifically for a manager by the name of Lenny. Time after time, my business partner and myself have witnessed him stand around and let his employees run around flailing trying to keep up with the volume of customers while he does absolutely nothing. The girls that work in the print department are outstanding, unfortunately, it seems as though they are starting to walk away from this disaster of a store because the print shop hours no longer have any sort of consistency whatsoever. Closed in the middle of the afternoon on one day, closed on a Saturday morning on another day. It’s a shame because we are watching very good, hard-working employees walk away due to unbelievably poor management… again, to be clear, the one star review is for Management, but we give the actual working staff there five stars! Way...
