Former Employee Review: Before I got hired here, I came here all the time with my family and for the most part I had a fair experience each time so I decided to apply. The first few weeks of working here was normal but then I started to notice how horrible management was very early on. I’ve honestly never worked in a more toxic environment in my life ( I’ve worked at two century theaters locations before regal ). There was many times I felt singled out, many times i never felt heard. There was one coworker I didn’t get along with, she was very disrespectful and didn’t do her job correctly which lead me to asking one of my managers nicely to not schedule me with her again and he said he would try yet he scheduled me with her a few days later. There is a huge hygiene issue as well, about 5% of the workers there smell horrible and are never given warnings or heads up about their smell, there are also many workers that don’t do their job correctly or well but that was never fixed or talked about because THEY DID NOT CARE. I personally feel like I worked very well at regal and did my job very well, I worked there for over 9 months, I definitely proved myself. MANY people at this establishment feel this way and half of the employees end up quitting or just not caring anymore and getting fired. I got suspended for “attendance” which I feel was very unjustified considering I barely called out, only called out when there was an emergency. I’ve been written up once at my old jobs but most of the time they were VERBAL. I don’t remember ever receiving any sort of verbal warning before being “suspended”. There was a lot of sketchy dirty things going on behind the scenes at this job that should 100% be explored and investigated. I felt very pushed and forced out of there. The senior manager and the GM treated me horribly and talked down to me every chance they got. Most days I’d leave work in tears because I really needed this job for my college tuition but I began questioning if it was ever worth it. I’ve recently started working at a better place where I actually am treated fairly and I actually enjoy what I do. Therefore, anyone trying to get employed through regal, if you are any sort of MINORITY, if your someone who has communication/social issues or if you have any emergencies that make it so you can’t work, I highly don’t recommend because they will NEVER...
Read moreWent to this movie theater for Ghiblifest movie - Castle In The Sky on August 28, 2017. We've already had bad experiences with this movie theater for past Ghiblifest movies. This last time though was horrible. First off, the PREVIEW didn't even start til half hour after the scheduled start time for the movie. Once the preview did start, the count down was for half an hour more. So our movie would start an hour late?! Unacceptable. Myself plus other patrons stepped out of the theater in order to ask questions. I approached one person and he was aware of issues going on in multiple auditoriums. MULTIPLE? Why yes, other auditoriums had various issues.
What sealed the deal for me was when I approached the person checking tickets, I asked about what was going on with our theater as it's almost been a half hour past start time. She called on the radio for a manager or supervisor to come speak to us. Well, it turned out he was walking up towards these ladies. Then he straight up passed us and didn't even stop to address my issue. I was ignored right in front of 2 workers. That was so unprofessional right there. So they got back on the radio and a different supervisor came up to speak to me.
This other supervisor was super polite and offered his sympathies but was unable to get the movie started on time or even expedite the previews to get us back on track as it is a fathom event. He did offer to let us come up to customer service after the showing, but customer service was swamped at the end of our screening. Apparently the person in charge of starting the showing on time was on BREAK. They went to break without telling anyone and our whole theater had to pay the price for this. I was not happy with this experience as I had been up since 3 am that morning and was forced to stay an hour longer than planned due to the staff issues. Overall not a...
Read moreOk. Went to see "Coraline" in 3D. Loved it. The casino and hotel, beautiful. The theatre well kept. However. The seating is not recliner in any way. Standard seating. No place for your food just 1 very small cup holder. That's it! If you buy all of this food? Good luck trying to figure it out! It goes on the floor! Or your lap or purse! No place to put anything. We had gone to another theatre some time ago. And it was true reclining seating w even a tray table for your food and cup holder for your drink. I'm going to search that out again for when "Beetlejuice" comes out. Plus there were absolutely no cups or any merchandise for the movie or even for "Beetlejuice" Your everyday theatre cups is all. I didn't even see "Beetlejuice" being advertised any where. No posters. Nothing. Popcorn was just average. I've had better. However the bathrooms were clean but no hand towels. Not sure who is supposed to restock but it was the 1st showing of the day so I'm a bit confused about that. 1 person scanned my phone and told me number 3. I had so much stuff so once I placed my cell phone back in my person after it was scanned for the tickets because I did it online. I asked him just one more time which theatre number again? 3!!! He said. Ok! Take it easy it's not that serious.....🤣🍿🎥 Plus next time I'll pay at the theatre should I choose to come back which I doubt. I saw no military anything on their website for a discount. However when asked for the same discount for food she told us, no. Only for the tickets if you buy them at the window here. Ok! Lost out on a discount because we paid on line and didn't go to the window and pay instead. So much for...
