My family attended the rink over the holiday season, but when we went, it seemed that the Zamboni was out of commission. The ice was extremely chunky and difficult to skate on. There were no alternatives being sought to get the excess ice off the rink while the Zamboni was seemingly broken. While it's a pretty atmosphere, it was not a very pleasant skating experience, especially for how much it cost. If the Zamboni isn't working and the ice isn't being cared for, then they should at least charge costumers less for the poor quality of the ice- the experience wasn't worth what it cost. Call ahead to see if the Zamboni is working...

I was expecting a crowded rink but even at capacity there was plenty of room for the three of us. If you have a little one you'll need to be quick with the little helpers (penguin and polar bear skating aids) as they sell out quick. I was only able to snag one the last 15 minutes of our time. No problems with the venue and staff, only complaint is parents were holding on to the skating aids rink side and not using them, just turn it in if your...

My wife fell due to not noticing the steepness of the slope while exiting the rink. It also made it hard to stabilize yourself near the wall since it dips down along the entire length if the rink. They do offer free penguin and snowman helper...things...for those with balance issues, but there's not enough for every skater. The penguins are short and work well for kids, and the snowmen are for taller people. Get there early if you...
