Royal Spa Massage Therapy — Attraction in Charleston

If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!! I have worked as a waitress for over 20 years and never once do I expect a tip from someone! I have always agreed to an hour paid ( normally $2.13/hr) and I strive to earn a tip from my customers! A tip is something someone gives you as a thank you for a job well done! It is NOT a guarantee!!!! My husband and I were on our honeymoon and he had never had a message so we figured we would get a couples message while we waited for our check in at our room. We walk in and this lady comes from the back a few minutes after we arrived... barefooted may I add... She leads us to this room and tells us to wait. No further instructions! About 30 minutes later she and another lady come into the room. She tells us to lay in the bed face down and cover with sheets. They leave and we do as we were told. Few minutes pass and the ladies return. They began the message. I have had messages before and I know theirs wasn't that great! Very repetitive and bone to bone! Like she pinned my upper arm between her arm and the table and rolled her arm firmly. Someone came in and she left out the room for about 20 minutes and had the audacity to charge for the full price of a hour when truly my husband only received 40 minutes of his 60 minute message. Then when the message was over she told us to get dressed and she left out of the room. As I'm standing there getting my clothes on she come barging back in the room and leaves the door standing open and me half dressed 😡😡😡😡!!!! He was still going to leave her a $10 tip and her response was...Wow, really? Only $10! Needless to say I didn't leave her a dime and I will never go back AND I will warn others not to...

Royal Spa is the BEST Spa in the Charleton area. They truly give you the ROYAL TREATMENT. The ladies are fabulous and very attentive to your needs. I have sciatica and suffer with lots of pain in my lower back all the way down to my feet. I have been to many different spas in the area but none can compare to the high quality of service that Royal Spa has to offer. I was greeted with a warm smile immediately as I entered the spa. The massage therapist was so nice and welcoming. The therapist was highly skilled at her profession. I wish I would have visited this spa before I wasted so much money at other spas in the greater Charleston area. After my massage was completed I felt so relaxed and able to move without severe pain in my lower back and legs. I will definitely be returning to Royal Spa for help with my sciatica. Awful!!!!! Stay away if you can.. My friend and i did our massage together and the whole time the 2 women doing us talked to each other literally the whole time. We had a hr and a half massage and the lady doing me left out and was gone for 20 plus mins i had to ask the other lady is she planning on coming back.. When she finally did she went right back to talking and didn't even comp me for the time she was M I A!!! Than had the nerve to demand a tip at the end of service...
