The beach front Seacliff State park was full and so was everything else. The owner took my call and offered the last spot at Seacliff Center RV Park. Upon arrival I realized it was a mistake as this is a long term rv parking lot with side by side units and the traffic noise - absolutely terrible. The owner offered to back up my 25 foot C class and squeeze it between the gate to the street and another rv unit. In my mind this wasn't actually a spot - just a spot for me at $50 ($5 refunded if you return the washroom key). Another RV owner kindly backed my rv in for me. Amenities included electrical, sewer hookups, wifi, filthy washroom and shower and a coin operated laundry. Next door is a very famous ice cream spot called Marianne's as well as another well reputed restaurant called Manuel's. A convenience store across the street seemed to have all you need for a short stay. The beach was a 10 minute walk away down lots of stairs or down a ramp. I went for the afternoon and again for an evening stroll. There were lots of families enjoying the beach, having cook-outs, fishing and wading. The interpretive centre explained the area including the concrete ship that was at the end of the pier - worth watching the 10 minute video. All in all a great destination, but perhaps try getting a spot on the water at...
Read moreFred was welcoming and guided us into our spot easily. We have a 37’ class A and it was snug but Fred made it seem effortless. You cannot beat the location. The beach is directly across the street. Restaurants, parks, stores are couple minutes away. Everything is extremely central. We had an amazing time visiting Santa Cruz and staying at Seacliff helped with that. Our site was full hookups and stayed the max of 20 days. We do have a 8 year old and yes the park isn’t kid friendly but if you’re here in SC you’re not staying at the Rv park long, you will be exploring. There is a kid park a block away and there were lots of kids there and a skatepark too. Lots of things for kids to do nearby. Everyone here was very friendly and it was a quiet park. If we are in the area again we hope to...
Read more10/10 highly recommend! I have been staying here since Dec and cannot say enough good things about this park. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Just east of Santa Cruz right next to everything. The beach is literally 1 block away. I've never had any issues with my hookups or power, free wifi is fast, Shannon is so welcoming and amazing to work with and you feel very safe. If I could move here permanently, I would. The price cannot be beat for the location. If I had to pick anything to criticize it's that the parking lot is tight and right next to the highway so traffic is very very loud. The park also lacks a touch of atmosphere that you'd get from staying at a KOA that has beautiful communal area with grass and outdoor seating but with the beach so close away you really...
