The technicians are great. They do a great job helping you but the schedulers I got one scheduler John I called and said that my insurance covered the whole MRI and it would only cost me $110 for my co-pay not 395. So John just assumed that I couldn’t afford $395 and canceled both of my appointments when I called back at 8 o’clock my appointments were taken. My appointments were for 8:30 in the morning. And I talked to him at 7 AM told him that I would call my insurance and get some information on that before I did anything and he said oh it’s too late you already been canceled I think that’s really A bad thing to do to a person. I did get my appointment back from a different scheduler. I also talked to my insurance and when I went in to get my test done, they didn’t charge me a thing for the inconvenience that I had. John is with the 800 Number that you called not at The Imaging place at all. What happened? I was supposed to call the insurance and get a reference number. Contact the billing department and give them the reference number. In the meantime when I did call the billing department I got another person that didn’t know what she was doing. Her name was Tracy. She told me that that’s not where it’s supposed to be after I was told the billing department needed that number. I think this woman needs to be trained a little bit better because she really didn’t know what she was doing. All she wanted to do is talk and do a lot of it. I asked for a supervisor and she said well I’ll walk around the building and look for one. Three minutes later she came back oh well I’ll have to go around the other building and look for one. I said to her never mind just put me where you think I need to be. I don’t wanna talk to you. Please don’t say anything else not one more Word from you which I think she like to talk because that’s all she could do is keep talking . Talk talk talk when I got with the scheduler Angelo. He did a great job. He helped me and got everything taken care of so I can get my MRI and CT scan done. I do appreciate him and the technicians there but these two bad apples. Need something done One needs to be trained and the other one well you can guess what I was thinking. I think it was very wrong for him to do what he did to me or anybody at that. You just don’t assume that someone doesn’t have $395.I will continue to go to Simon Med regardless of two bad ...
Read moreLocation I went to was very dirty inside the waiting area. Front desk staff was unpleasant to work with. Information provided by staff Ofer the phone and front office staff was conflicting. I was told over the phone 6 times when I called about my appointment that the full amount was due at the time of the appointment, but all 6 times they didn’t update my information showing I had insurance. Then when they updated the information they said only $100 was due at the time of appointment and the rest would be charged over a 6 month period. Well the info never got saved because I would get reminder calls that the full amount was due at the time of the appointment; which is why it was 6 phone calls I made before my appointment. When I got to my appointment the front desk lady told me if I didn’t pay the over $300 that she was requesting, which was a partial payment, they could not continue with the appointment. I was forced to move money, that I really shouldn’t have spent, around between accounts to meet her demand. I did tell her I was informed only $100 would be due and she told me her computer sets the least amount that is owed at the time of the appointment and nothing could be done about that. She said I could pay the money requested or cancel my appointment. I paid the money because I needed the appointment, but of course I suffered the consequences later when bills were due and I didn’t have the money. I pray I can find a new place to go to because this place is filthy, they are liars and they take advantage of people who know they really need the service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I’m a nurse and was disgusted with the lack of cleanliness and the poor patient...
Read moreThey are so disorganized, they cancelled my appointment multiple times, whether because they didn't have an X-ray tech and then my insurance wasn't going thru. Then another guy said it was fine, and scheduled the appointment again, then they called me back later and cancelled it again. Just...could you be anymore difficult? I understand some of it was because of my insurance, as I stated, but your people were very disorganized as well.
But we finally got it all together, and I got to show up to do the tests. The first one, the CT Scan, the guy had a really hard time getting an IV, 3rd time was the charm. And he was decent, helpful, but not friendly. At all. Then I went to get a mammogram. There were two women in there, and neither of them are friendly. And I'm sorry, but if you're going to be handling my boobs, you could at least tell me your name first. They gave me a little jacket to put on that was so tiny it cut off the circulation in my arms and didn't cover anything. They didn't even attempt to find a more appropriate covering. They didn't care much for discretion, which again, is difficult when you're dealing with personal body bubbles.
None of them were rude, and that's why they get three stars, but none of them were friendly either. And that's just ... Important when it comes to healthcare. At least compassion and kindness. (One of the women in the mammogram was helpful in grabbing me a chair and was patient with me needing to sit down. I appreciated that. )
Anyway, so I wouldn't recommend this place, but like in my case, I have no choice but to go to this location because it's the only place in LV that my insurance covers. Which would be fine...but be...
