WORST EXPERIENCE-THIEVES these two new works who i was informed just took over managing the rental properties this past monday, decided they were going to go through all of our things and items while we were out, they said they tried to make several calls to us but all call logs were checked, even theirs and they never attempted, they tried to tell me when they packed my thing for me (claimed we were late to checkout so threw our stuff out,as far as we knew we had the condo until the 10th, this was the 9th, at 10 am, ) she told me my makeup and hairdryer (all very expensive i’ve saved up for years and my recently passed father bought me the hairdryer) and told me it was not there and never seen i know this isn’t true and insisted i wasnt leaving until i got my items, mind the entire time these ladies were incredibly rude and refused to let us double check the room, while another sweet employee overheard and asked for our room number and said it would be no problem as the cleaners were up there, when i went i found the bathroom cleaned out, so i asked the cleaners, three hispanic people who couldn’t really speak english however i was crying and gesturing to my face saying my makeup the boy who looked about 17 understood me and made a gesture to mascara and said makeup and when i said yes he confirmed that they came in and took everything, they watched them take my makeup, at this point the ladies came out to my boyfriends father and said they just found it in the bathroom which is a lie because i was up there at the time, clearly knowing they were caught, when we got to the next hotel an hour away, we realized they took my boyfriends only nice pair of shoes he’s ever owned, his jordan’s, and our big blue blanket, when we arrived home i went through my bag thoroughly, thinking i had gotten all my makeup back, i am still missing my foundation, my pallets my father bought me in 2020, my blush and highlighters, and pretty much normal base makeup is all gone, i do NOT recommend this place as i have tried to contact several times and they take my information and promise to call but i never hear back. Read more7.9.24 Condo is in a very convenient location. The pools and hot tub were nice. Condo really is on the beach! Parking is ok as well. If it wasn't for this, I would rate 1 star.
The amenities were nice except for the elevator being down. It was down for about a day or 2 but nonetheless was super inconvenient and tiring (especially since we were in the 11th floor). We felt disappointed for the elders, children, and handicaps.
A bigger complaint we have is for the housecleaning. We were away from the condo (our stuff stayed) for a weekend even though our checkout wasn’t until the 10th and they took all of our stuff!! (Yeti cooler, JBL speaker, tote bag, food, etc). We were livid.
Our stay was from June 29, 2024 through July 10, 2024. We went back to Georgia on the 6th and returned to Florida on the 9th to find out the housecleaners (thieves) invaded our privacy and stole our stuff!
After many phone calls going back and forth, we were only given our Yeti cooler. As for the rest of our items, I was told by the housecleaning that their manager will be involved to find out where our items were.
Since we’re from Georgia, having to drive back to Florida for the Condo’s mistake is unacceptable.
I truly hope the Condo has the courtesy to send our items back through the mail (with tracking) and waive the fee of doing-so. Honestly, that's minimum.

7.11.24 I have called everyday and have spoken to Debbie who tells me their manager, Brittany, will call me yet hasn't. Debbie is nice but wasn't too empathetic to our stuff being taken away.
As for Jaime, she was appalled that the staff took our stuff without our permission. She said she would send an email on our behalf, that she would reach our to all outlets to amend the Condo's error, overall Jaime is very attentive.
We are still waiting for a call and our items.

Read moreThis was a terrible experience. We paid $1,800 for a HUGE headache. If you value your sanity stay elsewhere. Our washer and dryer didn't work day 1. We informed the owners and 2 days later we were told it would be resolved in 2-3 days and we asked to be called (which never happened) before anyone went into our room(our trip was 8 days). On our third day here we walk back to our room to find the door unlocked and tools all over the floor including an open box knife for my 1 year old niece to find. Then we were told it would be replaced in two days and I'm the mean time we could take our clothes down 7 levels to the main level to wash them. Which also meant we would have to wait in the room while they were washing/drying. Day 6 we go up to our room and find the door standing open. 15 minutes later they come up with a "new washer and dryer." Then leave before checking if it worked and our luck it didn't. We ask the owner to call and never receive a call but a sorry excuse for an apology. In that apology the owner ask if they can show our unit to potential buyers and say "you don't have to be there when they come." As if we want more strangers alone with our belongings since they obviously don't even have the decency to close or lock our door. The condo wasn't owned by Summerhouse so they couldn't give us any help or answers and our owners Mr. Bill and Mrs. Kathy Mayo were absolutely not professional at all. We have wasted our only vacation and we came down for our moms wedding, but it was stressful. We could have stayed at a motel 6 and at least had clean towels and it would have been WAY cheaper. We expected for some sort of reimbersment since we were not given the accommodations promised, not to mention how scary it was to come back to our unit with the door standing open.
