The Guns Store — Attraction in Sacramento

Both Michelle and Gary where former staff at Just Guns store. I brought in a Browning BPS for them to sell on consignment which they sold other guns for me in the past. I purchased guns and other items from them. A year ago they closed up shop, removed the JUST GUNS logo and disappeared. I never recd. a call to inform me what/where they were going or what happened nor could I obtain any information from the existing phone number. Just gone. I finally tracked them down and threatened to report my gun as stolen and finally recd. an email from Michelle. Both her and Gary said they were sorry and when we open are store we will make things right. I waited another month and finally went to see them. I asked Michelle so how can we make this right and both Gary and her said we couldn't sell it because of the texture of the stock coating and if you want us to sell it you need to lower the price to $299. It's a $700 mossy oak Browning. They only showed it for approx. a month and it was in some safe in some storage until they opened the store. They both have an attitude and basically kept my gun for a year and gave it back to me without even discussing making it right. I offered selling it w/o paying the consignment fee of 20%. They blew me off, handed my gun back and didn't care one bit about making it right. Worst customer service ever. I will never go back and and never say anything good about them. You just don't treat customers like this. Sad store and staff. The review site makes me give them a minimum of a star but...

Short of the story. Went in to buy a firearm. I was put on delay. Guy in the store said he didn't know why I should have gotten a letter explaining why. I i just got delayed that day I dont think they can get me a letter out that fast.

Days later after I did receive a letter. I did what I had to do to move things along. 3 days before my 30day waiting period is up i come down to the shop to ask what's my status. It was like the guy already knew who I was and said "you were denied call this number and ask them why". The number he gave me did not help what so ever. It's just a recording of the firearm laws.

We all know I cant blame the store for being denied BUT the guy simply told me "I dont know you need to contact the DOJ"

I was never given a NTN number or even told about NICS. Maybe I am wrong but I should have been at least told about NICS. I had to find out about this on my own. I think they could have giving me a better response than "i Don't Know". I am sure I am not the first person to be denied a firearm from this shop.

Bought my first gun here (used) awhile back to see if I enjoyed shooting. Staff was very knowledgeable, helped me with the documents process, and held the gun for me while I got things straightened out. Price was great and I’ve yet to have a single issue with it.

If you’re used to super smiley, bubbly people some of the guys can seem standoffish at first. Try to remember you’re in a gun store, in not-the-best area. They’re super helpful and will go the extra mile for you, they just aren’t all the type to butter you up while they do it. (Which is a good thing, though you may not realize it at first.)
