My family and I today experienced the most uncomfortable customer service ever. We simply came to do some shopping and while doing so, the manager of the store had instantly came over to us 3 minutes after coming in, without any introduction, asking if she could take our items to the front of the cashier desk. Mind you, since we had just came in the store, we haven’t even picked anything out yet since we were decided between two small rugs. We then looked confused since: She had only approached us and us only. 2. We noticed that she followed us around the store. We replied letting her know we were still looking around since again, we had only came in for about 3 minutes so far. After 2 minutes, she once again approached us and felt the need to say something since she was right next to us, doing absolutely nothing but watching. We thought we should ask to speak to the manager. To our surprise, she was the manager. We had told her we were not comfortable with the way she had offered us to take our items to the front when she could have offered us a shopping cart or basket. And on top of that, she was standing right next to us watching, not asking absolutely any other customer for help, let alone watching them. We decided to just leave the store since we felt uncomfortable with the way she continued to follow us. She even watched us walking to the parking lot. We wish we had a name, however she wasn’t wearing her name tag and we did not ask for a name since in the moment we felt the need to leave because of our kid. What example is she setting up for her fellow employees, almost teaching to discriminate customers. I hate to believe that we had experienced discrimination, but we DID feel almost harassed. Read moreProbably the worst experience buying furniture I’ve ever had. Placed an order online to pick up in store and paid for the item online. Received a confirmation email a few hours later saying the item was ready for pick up, so I scheduled to have a trailer ready to come to the location and pick up the item. I arrived before the person with the trailer did and came up to the front to see if they could pull the boxes out for them so that when the trailer was ready we can load up the couch quickly and go. As I started the checking out process the lady working there (who I assume is a manager) tells me that she cannot ring me up because there is something wrong with the online order... um what? She tells me the only way I can take the couch home today is to pay for it AGAIN! Even though I pulled up the confirmation email that said I paid... my bank account which clearly shows the amount withdrawn.. none of that apparently is proof enough... I had no choice other then to purchase this couch AGAIN, since the person with the trailer had arrived and was waiting. The manager swore I’d get my money back the next day.. 3 days later, and nothing. What kind of service is this? I contacted customer service and got a generic wait 3-5 days for the money to be returned, no apology or anything! Definitely not purchasing...

This is a review regarding a customer Mary Lou Mata, I was at the store shopping and I overheard this lady shouting and getting loud, getting bullying. Mary Lou Mata was there Dec 16, 2020 and I had been looking for this review because she had mentioned she was going to social media and leave a negative review, which really upset me because she was being impatient. I was in line watching the whole thing, the worker was being very helpful to her and she had asked him to help her find coupons on her phone and the gentleman was trying his best to do so. Then she yelled at him when the coupons were not opening up in the phone do to spam reasons, she clearly blamed the gentleman because the coupons did not come up on her phone. Also the coupons do not usually work on food items according to my experience though out the years with World Market. She had approximately 5-6 items in the cart and she stated it took her over 2 hours to shop for these items. Later I asked that gentleman his name and he stated it was Imran. He was such a sweetheart. Mary Lou clearly was being so rude to Imran. Its sad to see great workers being harassed and blamed for there great efforts. I never had one bad experience with...
