Tiger Supermarket — Attraction in Suitland

I went there 7/29/22 it’s clean and the produce was plentiful but the price of the milk is $4.99 😐😒..they didn’t have lamb (that’s what I wanted to cook for dinner but oh well🤷🏾‍♀️)..I bought salmon and shrimp..the shrimp were nasty. Salmon were skinny big pieces. Watch out for the sales. They aren’t registering in the system yet because they charged me for each bag of broccoli and it was on sale 3/$5 😐. Price rite for $85 I had 7 or 8 bags of food compared to 2 bags. You will definitely have to go back to other stores to avoid $5 milk. Costco milk is cheaper. Tiger is just like compare..two stores that could’ve just stayed in Va🥴✌🏾. Check out my weak receipt 😒…Took a star away because THE WATERMELON IS FAKE GMO AND I MEAN THE ONES WITH THE SEEDS. 8/20/22. The seedless is blatantly fake. Fellas specially you..please don’t eat this. Hormones in the food and body products have our men pvalley 🧔🏽‍♀️ 👨🏾‍🦱🍬. If your watermelon looks like the picture I attached..throw it AWAY!!! That pattern happens when farmers use growth hormones. Then we wonder why cancer and our organs jacked up. I’m passionate about my fruit because it detoxes me and boosts my energy. I can’t even buy fruit from here 😐. It’s always just a handful of ppl in there...

My neice and I went to buy crabs. I actually forgot about this place since the last time I visited, it was Price Rite. I left 2 point 2 seconds once inside the door. The smell was more than I could bare. I never went back. Then my neice said , "Auntie the new store in its place called Tigers Market sell crabs. So, ok, let's try it out. We got inside no smell but sea food for a few seconds. The stock clerk was helpful when I asked which way to the seafood, he actually walked with me as we talked and laughed. The store has so much to offer. Prices are so reasonable. I picked up a few cases of Deer Park water which were great prices. Clean, organized and the Cashiers , we had a great time . My neice purchased a miniature whisk for $1.99 for mixing your personal drink. The cashier was so struck by it, she said she was going to purchase one also. I will be going back. Nice Job...

02/21/2025- International food store. I stopped in the store just to look around, bought some pet ( dog) food. The normal brand that I generally purchase at Target, was much higher in price here at this Tiger SuperMarket, so I had to choose an alternate dog food brand at a much lower(cheaper) cost. Bummer. The store is large. This location has been many other names. I was surprised to see the aisle’s in the store marked and labeled “ Spanish foods”. Although, I am sure its international food stick serves all (Spanish, Mexican, Latino, Cuban) American food was in stock as well. All staff were international. The store is well lite. The produce displayed looked appealing. I did not like the smell in the store as I approached the meats section (fish, poultry, etc); it smell funny. So, that smell leads me to feel like I WILL NOT buy any meat from Tiger...
