I came here after being referred and my first appointment went well or at least I thought I had. I purchased the package of cryotherapy and red light therapy for the introductory offer and used both on the first day. When I went back today I was told by one of the employees that cryotherapy and red light therapy should not be used on the same day!! I had no idea. Fast forward to my 2nd time going and the cryotherapy tank had to be changed so I waited for about 30 minutes only for the guy to tell me he couldn’t get the tank changed and he apologized and gave me an additional cryotherapy session for my inconvenience. When I went back to use my session, it was 11:56am and the place was closed, hours are that they open at 9:00am. I was there along with another gentleman who had an appointment at noon. I call and leave a message and the owner calls me and apologized and says he’ll give me an additional red light therapy session. When I went today to use it I was told my package had expired. I think it’s poor customer service to have packages with no reminders and given the fact that there had been a few mishaps on my end I would think that an exception could’ve been made. However when I spoke to the owner he just told me they tell everyone how long the packages last and wouldn’t budge. Needless to say I will not return and I will tell everyone I know of my experience and let them decide if they want to patronize a business such as this!!!...
Read moreSurprised to see so many the bad reviews - I really like this place and think most of the girls are very friendly and surprisingly professional. Only reason that it's not 5 stars for me is that I think it's on the expensive side - and also, one time I paid an exorbitant price for what was supposed to be a very advanced, quick, no-burn bed. The only problem was that I barely got tan and got no color whatsoever on my legs. When I went to another salon while out of town the next week (bc i was trying to get tan for a special event) the owner there explained that no, that type of bed is never recommended to tan legs bc the rays aren't strong enough. So i wish i had been told that before I paid do much to tan in that bed. On the positive side, all but one of the girls are extremely helpful and knowledgeable - and one even insisted I use her personal bottle of tanning lotion when they were out of the kind I usually purchase. What I've learned is to stick with one particular bed I like and just wait if it's not available - bc even the stand up bed hasn't been that reliable to tan me all over. I also don't buy packages bc i dont tan that often - so I can't speak to others' complaints about their packages expiring and losing money - that would be annoying though. All in though, I do like this place and prefer it over others...
Read moreReally disappointed with the service and staff here. I was a customer for about two years and will not return. A year ago I purchased a package of tans that I've been using intermittently. I tanned in June and July and when I came back in in early August to tan I was told that my package expired. I realized it had been a while since I'd purchased a new package and inquired about when it expired. She looked into the records and said they expired in June 2014. I told her that I tanned in July, and she confirmed that I did...but said I shouldn't have been able to because the package expired in June.
It was incredibly frustrating that when I did tan in July, no one told me my tans were about to expire (or technically, already had). It would go a long way in earning the trust of customers to give them ANY warning or indication that their package is about the expire. Simply taking away the remaining tans without any heads up seems deceitful. Yes, I get it - they expire in one year - but how about a gently reminder of when that time comes?
All the girl at the desk offered was a small discount on a new package. Really? No grace period? No warning?
I thought it was handled very poorly and...
