I made an appointment for a deep conditioning treatment and haircut. The person I spoke with on the phone was very kind and answered all my questions. I also inquired if my assigned student was a smoke free person as I am allergic and she made sure she was. The day of my appointment I was running about ten minutes late and I called and they were understanding. The school itself is beautiful and super clean, honestly the most clean salon I've been to. I also appreciated that it didn't smell like chemicals. My assigned student was Kristin and she was super sweet. She asked me what I was wanting done with my hair. I appreciated she didn't try to get me to do something more or different but really stuck to my requests. The deep conditioning treatment greatly helped my hair. The haircut includes a shampoo, conditioner, haircut, scalp massage, blowdry and style. While I was getting my haircut I pointed out someone's hair style that was there. When it came time to style my hair she didn't even have to ask what I wanted done and curled it just like the person I had seen. I think it's a nice environment because the students get practice and they're all detailed focused because they want to do a good job for their program. Gracie did a lovely job on my color! Perfect saturation covering my gray. Virtually no staining which is so hard with a red color. My hair was thoroughly rinsed and styled in a very timely manner. She was extremely pleasant to chat with and made sure I was comfortable. The school is clean and well lit with a comfortable and chic atmosphere.
