You know, normally I’m very easy to please but after today and everything I experienced, I can’t say the same. I had a bridal appointment scheduled today at 1 o’clock, that I schedule well over 2 weeks ago. When me and my family arrived, the worker I talked to was confused at first because there was someone else who was already there that said they had an appointment. At this point I am getting upset, it was supposed to be my special day and they ruined it. I went ahead and picked out some dresses to try on because the worker told me she was almost done, which was a total lie, she just got there. I had a dress on and was waiting for the other girls family to move so my family could get closer. The worker that was helping the other girl was standing right beside me and said “There’s literally an open mirror right there” to the worker that originally was helping me. Just because the mirror was open doesn’t mean I want to stand up there in front of those other people while my family had to stand to the side. I got tired of waiting, so I told them I was leaving. They would not confront the girl that “had an appointment” and ask to see if they got the info mixed up. So after me and my family walked out I went back in one last time to beg them to ask her to move. I was the one who had an appointment. The manager took me upstairs instead of moving her, which was okay but I would have rather been downstairs where all the veils and wedding stuff was, instead of running up and down the stairs. The manager did her very best to help us, which me and my family was very thankful for. I ended up finding the perfect dress, which made it a little better. But here’s the part that has bothered me and my family the most, when we got down to check out the girl who “had an appointment” was checking out as well. It turns out she knew the employee and that’s the reason she got to use the bridal section. It’s just simply not fair. And even if that’s not the case, they need to manage their bookings better and be fair about stuff. I have used them before for prom dresses and never had a problem, I always loved going there, however after today I’m not too fond of them.
I say all this because I don’t want another bride to experience what I did today. A bride should be so excited and happy to go dress shopping. They should not be treated the way I was today. I’m not asking for pity, I’m just simply saying they need to do a better job at managing things so the brides can have their special day and get the best experience possible.
Edit: Mrs. Shelia, I am very thankful for you helping me and my family out in every way possible. You definitely know how to make a bride feel special and loved! I understand that mistakes happen, after all everyone is just human. Thank you again for all that you did for me...
Read moreCountry Bumpkin Boutique has some of the most nicest employees. I absolutely LOVED my experience I had here today. I am from Chattanooga and my mom and I met some of our close family friends here to go wedding dress shopping for me. This was honestly my 5th bridal shop that I’ve been to (all the others were in the Chattanooga area) and I FINALLY found a wedding dress that I absolutely loved and felt so beautiful in. Leandra helped me, but she let me freely look through the inventory. Let me tell you, they have TONS of dresses in their inventory. They’re actually expanding and moving into a bigger building soon and they definitely deserve it! The owner told me they have been in that building for 30 years, so it’ll be bittersweet to move, but she said “God has blessed us,” and how often to do you hear an owner of a business say that?? They are the most sweetest, down to earth people. I chose about 6 dresses to try on and Leandra let my mom help zip me up and put on the dresses. Leandra was so sweet and had such a big, positive personality and made us feel so welcome. I told her what I liked and what I didn’t like, and she was an absolute gem to work with. I highly recommend this place for anyone shopping for prom, formal, or wedding dresses! They are AMAZING! I just can’t express how much I truly enjoyed my time spent at this cute place! Go see them for all your...
Read moreI don't often leave reviews, but the service here was so amazing, I want everyone to know. I'm from Chicago, so I'm not used to actual customer service, let alone genuine kindness from a store employee. Sierra (At least I'm 95% sure that's her name) made me and my mom's experience wedding dress shopping just that much better. I was visiting my mom here in Tennessee and because of the heat plans got cancelled so late minute decided to look for wedding dresses. As we were walking in I was fully prepared to get kicked out because we didn't have a appointment. But no! We were greeted by Sierra with a smile and kind voice asking what we needed and what she could do to help. Already I was shocked. Where I'm from you don't get smiles, and you have to find help. The whole experience she was right by our side. Undoing or helping fit the dress so I could see what it would look like fitted better, giving us amazing tips and tricks. In general, she was just a joy to work with. She made me feel better about myself, and made the entire experience more relaxing and comfortable. I wish there were more people like her where I'm from. Because of her, I'll be driving 9 hours back to get my wedding dress when the...
