Upon entry, MAN THIS PLACE IS SO AESTHETICALLY PLEASING! The colors really pop, I legitimately walked around the restaurant so I could check out all of the artwork! Fortunately, we were the only folks in there, as we went somewhere around 2:30 PM, so I didn't get a ton of weird looks for it or anything (when we left, not when we arrived). They also have one of those fancy walls with a sign for folks to take photos with, but I did not get to snap a picture of it, due to folks coming in and I simply didn't want to hold anyone up.
We got the Margarita flight, and we chose Pink Starburst, Fruit Punch Skittles, and Blue Mermaid. It's like $15, but they're all "regular" sized. The flavors were on point, as you could still taste tequila in them, which we tend to find better than a drink drowned out in sugar water. I only kinda tasted each, and I finished the Skittles one, but my lady said she def felt a nice buzz from the two 😂
I wanted to make a separate section for this, as it is a bigger deal than it seems... THIS PLACE (probably) HAS THE BEST GUAC IN COOKEVILLE. OK I KNOW IT SEEMS FETCH AND THE PHOTO DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT, AS IT LOOKS FAIRLY NORMAL, BUT Usher voice OOOOH MYYyyYYY GOSH THIS WILL HAVE YOU SPEECHLESS A F
My lady got flautas, and I got street tacos! I, unfortunately, forgot to photograph her flautas, but they had CHUNKS of chicken, instead of shredded, which really elevated our enjoyment of them. We almost always get flautas when we go to a Mexican restaurant, and these are our #1, we will likely get them every time.
I got the variety street tacos, and OH MAN! Each of them bursted with so much flavor, and the photos don't do justice, but they probably put more meat than anywhere else I've visited around. I don't know which it was, but one of them tasted like bourbon chicken, and it was a phenomenon I was unaware I needed in my life. Amazing.
Our server was great, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were more than fair! It's laid back, super cute, and lowkey, in comparison. We will 11/10 be back! GO GIVE THESE FOLKS SOME MONEY AND ENJOY DAT HOT PLATE!

Read moreAfter hearing so many amazing things about this place I had high expectations. We will start with the cheese dip which I hate to say was very bland. I couldn't taste spice at all. When we asked they explain it's because kids eat it and they try to tone down the spice which I can understand but we had to send ours back. They were very nice and took it off the bill. I ordered the fajita taco salad. For the majority it was good however the issue my friend and I both had was the meat was just bland. It lacked flavor and that was disappointing. I tried a bite of the quesabirria tacos. Bland. Absolutely no flavor. It didn't even taste like meat. The consume at first glance looked very bland also. If they could fix the cheese dip and season the meat this place could be amazing. I would definitely come back and give them a second shot. The service was great from the hostess to the server Jackie to the cashier at the end. What I appreciated was they took the constructive criticism in stride and made comments about them changing things. It takes a lot for someone to understand and be kind about it instead of blowing up and getting mad. So I...
Read moreThis is my honest review. I have no intention of being rude. I know they are new so hopefully working out the kinks. I'll start by saying the waitress was super nice and had a great attitude. Mexican is my favorite. However the food here was far from average. The table salsa seemed sweet and the chips were just okay. We had fajitas that just had no flavor. We had to send the guacamole back because it tasted like the avocado's were bad or something? It was so gross. We did not like the cheese sauce at all. asked for salsa Verde three times and they kept bringing a different weird sauce that never was salsa Verde. My daughter's each got one of the kids burritos that was smothered in a red sauce that we were not prepared for and the red sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce from a can. The shredded chicken in my daughters burrito literally tasted like feet. And lastly, the rice and beans had no flavor at all. So plain.
Again everyone was so nice and I hope they pick up on their food but it was honestly the worst Mexican food...
