Game X Change — Attraction in Cookeville

Let me start by saying we are a family of 4 and we all have different interests however we all have an extremely pleasant experience every single time we visit (which sometimes is weekly). We have a 17 year old and a 9 year old who are both treated with absolute respect as are all customers from what I've witnessed. My 17 year old is extremely introverted and has befriended several of the employees which is HUGE for him to be comfortable enough to have conversations with people. They honestly care about what he saying and give genuine responses! I prefer older console games, my husband likes the figures while both boys like the newer system games and the cards so we are all over the store. The prices are great and they offer items you can't get anywhere else not to mention they offer a guarantee on everything to work properly (we've never had to use it but its great to know it's there.) The employees go out of their way to help and answer any questions that any of us have including the little one. One employee even brought a system from his home for us that he no longer used!!! Come for the games and Ramune but stay for the witty banter of Sycamore & Audra (I hope I spelled those right 😬)

I came in today to trade in a few systems and some accessories but little to my knowledge that these overworked ladies were to their breaking points. As soon as they saw the big box I had their eyes got big but they were happy to help. Running around like a couple of animal tamers at a circus on the loose they were juggling about 100 different things as well as taking care of my transactions. There may or may not have been an incident involving a broken Xbox 360 but the culprit shall remain nameless lol which could have led to the most hilarious back and forth banter I've ever encountered in my entire life. At the end of a frantic transaction the staff demonstrated not only amazing customer service but some great uplifting spirits as well. Also Sycamore got me hooked on these amazing drinks called Ramune. The peach flavor is freaking amazing! Whatever it is that these ladies are paid is definitely not enough and deserve a raise.
