Revolver is a new country bar located in Cookeville, Tn. Easily located in the Tractor Supply parking lot from the large exterior picture windows wrapped in western themed photos. Entering Revolver you are immediately welcomed by security who are providing you with a safe venue to drink and dance. The bar is divided into 3 sections. A smaller bar with karaoke, an enclosed smoking section, and the main room. The decor is definitely country leaning towards patriotic showcasing the American flag throughout the building.The karaoke bar is adorned with a gigantic flag made from wood suspended from the ceiling and strung with lights. The karaoke room has 3 pool tables. Off the karaoke room is the main bar. It is divided into 2 separate areas. First is the pool table, beer pong and mechanical bull section. The second half of the room consists of the DJ booth, dance floor and 2 bars. Thursday night is ladies night and the bar does fill with college students. Friday and Saturdays have a more laid back vibe. Strictly country music is played until 10:30, then the DJ bounces back and forth between country and pop. Live music is being incorporated into their program. Different drink specials are offered every night. I found the staff and patrons to be friendly and welcoming. Beware!!! Plainly asked at the door if it was Latino night, was told "no you will have a great time" needless to say it WAS Latino night and we wasted $$ to stay an hour before we decided to leave. Was told by security to check website for Latino night , which we did by the way. My point is we asked before paying and was told no. If you need to lie to people to get business then you probably need to rethink your business strategy. We are from out of town and word of mouth is the best advertising you can get for free!!! Needless to say this is a one and done for us. There are far better establishments to go to. No need to lie to get $$, just be real and honest it will go alot further than being deceiving. Absolute worst experience that I have had in a very long time. If you decide to go make sure it's something your into or it's waste of time! Do your research and you will be good.
