BEWARE OF MALPRACTICE!
UPDATE to my review, This has been going for months I have to take legal action against the medspa now due to how poorly they have handled and lied about many things. Thank god I have all the emails/photos to show proof.
First off this medspa is not BBB accredited** ( give it a quick google) Which means they are able to cause any damage to your face and not be held liable. The VP of franchising, Sharmi is apparently the manager at the coral gables location too? She made up a whole story and lied numerous times over email and will not accept what the tech did to my face ( even after in person she apologized and was talking poorly about the tech saying they fired her).
IF you do end up coming here PLEASE take before and after photos of yourself JUST in case something happens you will be covered. I would also strongly suggest to do things over email so there is a paper trail. Ownership and the way the medspa is ran is extremely unprofessional.
Came here on April 19th to get a hydra facial the tech they had doing my facial was obviously extremely under trained and lacked professionalism. She over extracted on my nose and broke capillaries on the tip of my nose.
Not knowing that could even happen I go in for my facial in May with the redness still bright and apparent on the tip/side of my nose.
They Gave me a free facial to apologize for what happened...Then suggested I do IPL laser to "try" to get rid of the damage that their tech caused to my face. The manager tired to charge me for the laser sessions. I was completely shocked and said no that's the least they could do was take care of the laser sessions. I received 3 out of the 8 sessions. The broken capillary on my nose is still there. I had to move back home and asked them to pay for the remaining sessions that I have to get on my own now or refund my first facial that went horribly and my last facial that I never went too. No reply.
I'd say save yourself the headache and go somewhere professional. They are basically letting techs practice...

For over the past 1.5 years of getting services from Facial Mania (gables) it has gone downhill, shady, and is all about upselling everything. To the point where I bought what was recommended, get another aesthetician assigned to me and they say my skin is bad and I need XYZ- when I tell them I just bought that and have been using it for a month they come up with another reason why itās not working. The last 5 times I went their basic facial treatment was not consistent. One person would give a massage, another would finish a 50 min facial in 30 mins. Iām paying for the same facial every month but get very different services each time. They have the highest turnover rate Iāve ever seen in a med spa. Iāve overheard and seen aestheticians say they donāt have the correct products for hydra facial so they dilute it so their appointment doesnāt cancel. Also the way they speak to their staff is gross and not a business I want to support. Trying to cancel was another ordeal. Overall, they have gone down in service, inconsistent, and all about what they can sell you. (P.S. Iāve never gone back to a review to update it but felt this one required it because of what I have experienced) Original review: Had a facial with Ana and it was incredible. She took note of all of my skin concerns and addressed each one. My skin is super hydrated and the entire experience was so relaxing. The plus was getting an extra discount on an add-on service since I purchased a package. Plus, the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Laser hair removal with Dellia is great. Sheās walked me through the process and works with my tolerance. And I got tear trough and lip fillers with Daidi who answered every question (no matter how ridiculous it was) and checked on me throughout the process. Daidi listened to my request and delivered the most natural lip filler ever. I canāt say enough how friendly and welcoming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appointment online for the Coral Gables location. I paid $99 upfront for a facial. I showed up on time, gave my name and the front desk girl asked me for my driver's license. I don't show my ID to anyone because of the amount of fraud in this city. She said it was protocol. " I had to prove who I was since I made the appt. online.". Why would anyone make an appointment, pay $99 in good faith before you get the service, and then send someone in their place? Is this the White House?
I walked out and then I sent an email through Instagram asking for a refund. The manager called me back with a confrontational attitude and tried to justify the reason why I have to show my driver's license which I said I would not do and to please just issue me a refund. She refused and then I became angry and told her that I would write a review to which she replied she was recording me and "she would file charges" . For what, because she would not issue me a refund and I got upset? I did not give her my consent to record me and in Florida it's a dual consent state before recording can be made.
The $99 is irrelevant at this point but I want everybody to be aware of my experience before you make your appointment. I see there are other reviews about their rudeness in this location and it must be for a reason.
A good business owner would refund the money for a service that was not performed and move on but she decided to call me and make it an argumentative problem. Great business practices! Good luck to you.
NOW I RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING THAT I WAS A NO SHOW WHEN I HAVE MY VISIT DOCUMENTED!
If they don't return my money for not having done the service because of my bad experience, is that the same as theft? What...
