We’ve been twice and disappointed on both. Really cute setting and great for families but the food is inconsistent - and some crepes were simply not good. It’s expensive and the crepes are OK at best and some were bad. The sweet crepes - Nutella ones were fine, but both times the savory ones were overcooked and brittle. It’s order at the counter so can be difficult if you’re alone with kids and wanting wait service. The second time we went, the person taking the order kept asking us options about our order making it seem like it was part of the dish - like “would I you like bananas or strawberries” or “would you like something on top or on the side” and then just charged us extra. I should have probably checked but the kids were hungry and I just wanted to get through the order. One egg dish came with brioche but my kids don’t like it so I asked to switch to either plain bread or a croissant. She said the croissant was extra - totally fine, thinking it would be slightly extra but we ended up with no brioche, paying for the full cost of a croissant AND the full cost of the egg dish that should have included a bread accompaniment. The crepes aren’t cheap either. Whole order ended up costing over $125 for some crepes / eggs + coffee + orange juice. For that price, I would hope for wait service. Wasn’t terrible, we just prob won’t come back - there’s some better crepe options in Coral Gables and...
Read moreSince day I fell in love with this place. I read about the business first wondering how they came to be. Great story :) and when I first came to Coral Gables establishment I already knew who Marlen was and how she was recruited. What a delight to meet her, as she is so sweet and always greets her customers with a smile. She was also delighted to know I knew of her. She leads an excellent team where EVERYONE who works here is so nice and they always remember me and my favorite items to order. That’s what makes a special good team. That’s what makes coming here unforgettable. Thank you all so much for the excellent hospitality and customer service. The food is delicious. Love the salad and dressing, yum! The Best Cafe Latte!!!! ever. They must add a special touch of love because it really is good. The crepes are a really filling with a good portion of fluffiness for the price. Many choices between sweet and savory. The potato soup is a warm bowl of pure happiness. Don’t believe me, try it sometime. Overall, five stars isn’t enough. It really is a “Sweet” spot for breakfast and all day good energy and environment that has you feeling you are in another place, Paris. Thanks...
Read moreI have always wanted to go to this place since it opened a couple of months ago. I liked the design and the location. This place will be better as other restaurants open next year, which will make the atmosphere way better. I ordered the Nutella strawberry and banana crepe with vanilla ice cream and it was the best crepe I have ate so far in Miami. I also ordered a hot latte and honestly it was one of the worst ever. I really hope that they try to make their coffee better as I have high hopes for their upcoming MWC location. So everything was perfect...
