Planet Fitness — Attraction in Coral Springs

Compared to surrounding gyms, it is not good at all. No idea how it has 4.6 rating.. Only gym in worse condition is the LA fitness on Coral Ridge Dr, although the staff there is much more professional.. Youfit, the one that closed way better, EOS is much better.. Why? lots of broken equipment. only one calf machine for example and been broken for months. There is no handle on some of the machinery, so you cannot adjust the seat, either they removed it manually or it has been broken forever. Some of the pull-up levers just require too much force to move or just don't move, they need to oil them. Only 2 inflatable exercise balls (1 large, 1 small).. so really only one if you want a ball to do abs' exercises, one of them they started keeping by the counter so you have to go back and forth, if it is even available, and the other has been deflated for a while now. Only one large back roller, they also keep by the counter.. Other gyms they leave multiple in the free area. Equipment layout is quite spread out for leg workouts for example. Gym overall is pretty basic if you are in for serious workout, no proper pull-up bars for example, they have what they call monkey bars or the assisted pull-up machinery which is too short if put the seat down. worst ergonomics of the machinery compared youfit, EOS, or even LAFitness

If you go there at night, garbage bins are full, no paper towels, spray bottles empty, kid at the front desk is just hanging with friends which is cool, just keep the place tidy first. Also, not professional at all and not the best attitude especially if you ask about something.. Lots of time especially in the morning, there is no one for maybe 30 mins or over at times at the front desk, so anyone can just walk in. Massage chairs are quite worn out and sunk-in where the lumbar is so you don't really get a deep enough massage especially in the low back to make a difference . In my personal opinion, this is one of the worst locations you could choose to join. I contacted the gym for assistance about a non authorized charge and the manager was on vacations so they invited me to call the NEXT week until she could be back in the office claiming no one could do anything related payments without her. After that, I called one week after and when I spoke with the manager she didn't helped me at all and after being on the phone for 40 minutes with her without a solution and explaining her I had proofs (screenshots) I could share with them and she answering that I couldn't send them info through email and it would have to be in person she decided to leave me on hold until I got bored to hang up the phone. I call again and of course no one answered me the phone and when they did someone else was on the line saying that the manager had an emergency meeting. I requested once again speak with a manager and he put me on hold again with the same strategy waiting for me to get tired and forget about it. I called again exhausted about trying to get help without no one caring about the terrible customer service they offered and requested to cancel my membership that they said it was canceled.

I would never recommend planet fitness to my friends or go to this location. when they dont care about their consumers.

Is so frustrating that they dont have a contact and when you try to get help from the manager she will react this way leaving me on the phone unattended and then avoid to speak with me.

Always friendly people at the desk when you walk in and always eager to help if needed, the equipment is always clean and functional and the men’s locker room/ bathroom and showers are also nice smelling and very clean an tidy as well, I primarily go on Sundays early so my review honestly is based on only one day a week so unfortunately I cannot comment on weekly activities for those of you that workout during the week, for me this gym is very close to my home and plenty of parking when I go, the price seems to be reasonable, but I have not gone gym shopping in years, just wish they had a steam room and a sauna that’s why only gave 4 stars unless they have them and I have never seen them but don’t think so, possibly it’s not permitted? It’s a great thing to have after a good workout; if you enjoy that, you might want to inquire about that first, otherwise everything else is very nice and serves my purpose, a nice selection of free weights, machines and all the treadmills and those sort of cardio machines, one might need, they also have suntan beds, massage chairs and water massage beds which are pretty cool and helpful, also they sell sports drinks snacks, towels and shirts if you’re into that, their is also a large selection of lockers all around to put your valuables in while you’re working out, I truly hope my review has helped anyone thinking of joining this...
